We go and pull a move like Jarvis Landry and totally redeem ourselves...

hot damn top 5 wr on my board...perfect scheme fit...I don't give a rip about his 4.6 speed this kids a pro...hell I had him for us over his teammate beckhams who went at pick 12...

tough as as nails understands man and zone and runs routes accordingly....ready to produce day 1...

This kid will ear hole lbs if they aren't paying attention...catches in traffic unafraid...love it

the first trade out from 50 to 57 was a great move and made perfect sense I didn't like the trade out after that to drop 6 spots and gain a 5th rounder...no real value even two 5th rounders won't get you into the 4th round

but this pick totally makes up for it...welcome to Miami Mr landry

Easily my favorite pick since tannehill 2 years ago...

Landry should be a good pro for us for many years.

The guy catches EVERYTHING. Which helps when you have an inaccurate QB.

He is a superior version of Gibson with more strength and better hands. Should be a great red zone option for us as well.

I love this pick. The top end speed is overrated. He can create separation, catch a pass, and score from 40 yards out no problem. We now have several WRs who fit very nicely with the system.

LOL you got me.... I actually did a double take when I read the title..... then I laughed because I pictured Jim Carey on that mini scooter.

He looks like a good blocker too. Nothing I don't like about this pick: the trade downs, the player, very well done.

Agreed, he has everything that Mike Wallace lacks, and I guess you could say Wallace has the one attribute that he lacks. I'm excited about the way this WR corps will look this year.

Title got me I was about to rip you and your draft evaluation skills but..... You got me. This kid can play!!

I think Landry will be a starter eventually, but I think he plays special teams this year. Philbin will likely go with last years starters unless there is an injury.
Tannehill is not a deep bomb QB. He just doesn't have that skill. Guys like Landry fit his skill set. Guys that get fed the ball late or off balance and still make the catch.
He reminds me of a smaller Oronde Gadsen, or a shorter Chris Chambers.

Landry always makes big plays, Miami toughened up at WR tonight

Psych! I read this thread expecting to hear you rip it based on the title, very NFL.com of you. Good job.

I'm very excited! Pure physical talented and gifted athlete here! Should be a slot starter easily this year.

Hes the WR version of Ray Lewis..I love this pick

He's a half step slower, but this kid reminds me of Reggie Wayne. One heck of a football player. Tannehill is a happy man tonight.

Freaking love this pick!!! I was hoping we selected and I'm
glad it my wish came true! good job Hickman!

Incredible pick and value here. We're gonna love this guy. I guarantee.

An LSU guy on reddit compared him to Hines Ward. After reading that I completely agree. He is a great leader, he catches everything, runs great routes, lays the wood on people, and is about the same height/speed.

I really like this one.
