I haven't seen a lot of Vernon, living on the West Coast, but based on the highlight packages I've seen on him he looks very stout against the run. I know he's got a lot of athletic ability, but I haven't seen a lot of this pass rushing ability that he supposedly has. Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong highlights, but it seems to me he has more pass rushing potential than actual pass rushing ability at this point. I'm wondering if this is true to the people who have actually seen him play???
