Since 99% of the people/media/sports casters are picking the Ravens... And if the Raven's actually win tomorrow. Miami is Back to square 1. Back to being the 1-15 team of 2007. 2008 would have just been a fluke to the whole world. An "easy" schedule they will all say.

With that all said. Lets be as loud as we ****ing can tomorrow and cheer our Dolphins to yet another Dubbya.

I agree the 11 wins was awesome, but that is regular season. Unless you win a playoff game it doesn't mean jack! Baltimore is going to be a serious challenge tomorrow after watching footage of them from the last few weeks.. they are looking solid as hell! Go Fins!

Everyone is back to square one if they don't get to the SB.

2008 a fluke if we don't win a playoff game? Even if we hadn't made the playoffs, winning 10 more games than the year before is no fluke. Winning 11 games with an "easy" schedule is still no fluke.. the Bills, Broncos and 49ers had easier schedules and none of them managed more than 8 wins. And winning a division that included the 11-5 Pats & 9-7 Jets is definitely no fluke. And winning 9 of 10... well, you get the point. I understand what you're saying, but all 32 NFL teams have haters and have to deal with the media. GO FINS!

Someone going to the game? I'd love to see a scarecrow with a Joey Porter jersey in the stands!

You couldn't be more wrong. Going from 1-15 to 11-5 not only brings the fans out of the woodwork and into the seats, it breaths confidence in the entire organization. It makes Miami an attractive place for free agents to come to again. It rejuvenates EVERYTHING the Miami Dolphins stand for.

Yet you sit there and act like the season would be wasted b/c they didn't win a playoff game.

Typical

I dont know. While I think your assumption is on the right course, I personaly think we will be remember as the best turn around team on record. Regaurdless if we win tomorrow or not.

No matter how Sunday's game ends, we have etched an indelible place in NFL lore. We have bested the greatest turnaround by a 1-15 team not by 1, but by 2 games! We have equaled only 1 other team in orchestrating the greatest 1-year turnaround in NFL history! We have captured the divisional championship of what turned out to be one of the 2 most competitive divisions. We have the Comeback player of the year, who at 32 can well be our steadying, guiding light to ever-greater heights over the next several years, while imparting our QB of the future with a priceless education on how to react both on and off the field. The Fins have demonstrated that a well-coached, disciplined, intelligent and cohesive team, despite some talent shortcomings, can outperform cap-bloated, star-studded units lacking the ingredients that make us a true team.

As far as next year, as someone else observed, everyone begins with a clean slate. Why would we revert back to a 1-15 team while the Jest, Atlanta and Baltimore wouldn't also revert back to sub 6-win teams???

Come-what-may, this has been a season for the ages and no one can ever take that away from the Dolphin Nation!
We have laid a strong foundation and whether or not next year we can duplicate or exceed this year's accomplishments, for the first, in a very long time, I'm quite bullish on how the future will unfold.

if anyone remembers we werent supposed to be this good. I dont think we revert back to 1-15 quite the oposite well just get better. We got some stasbility at the qb position something we havent had since marino, and most of our stars are young players who we will have for a while. This seasons huge turn around means we can only add to the list with young talent through the draft. 11-5 isnt the end its the beginning.

You cannot call it a fluke when Parcel's has turned teams around before.

Who care's what anyone else says? Last year the Dolphins were all over the news for the wrong reasons. I have learned to tune that nonsense out. Only things I like to read are from the local media, because they spend alot more time covering the details of this team, and you can get some personal or inspiring stories about individual players, or read about team chemistry and all that. Much better than listening to Chris Berman(or whoever) telling us that the Dolphins dont deserve any kool aid.

hopefully we do not lose but if we do at least we have something to look forward to as a franchise we are competitve again. hopefully that translates into a super bowl down the road

couldn't disagree more. no matter what happens tomorrow, the Dolphins will be the defending AFC East Champions and the 2007 season is wiped away forever.

As stated earlier, you dont fluke 11 games. You don't fluke a league lead/tie for the fewest turnovers. You don't fluke a new offense, that posts the most effective rating in the league. You don't Fluke a TEAM, and that's what we have now a TEAM with True front office leadership. That's why were beyond what we were last year.
