The issue is that whoever replaces him needs the power to fire Gase, but Ross probably won't do that, like he did with Hickey and Philbin.

I think what he's saying is the new GM should have the POWER to fire Gase... Meaning, let the new GM evaluate whether or not he wants to keep Gase, but he should have the power to fire him if he doesn't think Gase is the guy. No GM who's respected is going to want to come here without having the power to fire the coach.

Understood. Ross has to do something fast. The revamped stadium might play in our favor as Ross won't want the team looking like assholes in it for long.

If this team goes 2-14 or 1-15, fire the coach and GM. Get two new ones together. Do a real rebuild. Enough of this half measure of keeping a coach and firing the GM or firing the coach and keeping the GM.
Gase has his hands all over this roster. Tanenbaum or Gase I could care less, we still lose as fans.
