Ya know...its strange...but these games get a LOT less emotionally and mentally straining when you come to the realization, "they suck, and are going nowhere anytime soon."
When you see the impact the current brain-trust is having on this team's odds of success (IMO), it clears up. I've watched the last several games basically in a neutral state, where-as usually I'd be wound up, telling myself they'll pull through, even when its obvious they can't/won't. The fraud strolling the sidelines isn't equipped.
While I'm convinced they won't hit the promised land under this owner, anything's possible, but I'll never again expect it...not until Ross is out and we have different leadership, but a Super Bowl win is the standard, and at this point, after 50+ years of failing, I can't relax that standard. I wish more people that financially support this franchise would agree, and let their wallet (or lack of opening it) do the talking. They haven't earned my money. Nothing else can have an impact, IMO.
