Hopefully the outcome of this draft is a strong secondary

If Vonte Davis and Sean Smith turn out to be good starters then im happy with this draft. You cant expect every pick turn out good. Madison and Surtain part II. Pat White is our backup QB but he will not be on the bench like most and will be used on offense. Patrick Turner IMO will be our Redzone/Short yardage WR but i doubt he is the #1 WR we are looking for. All in all if our secondary become a shut down secondary im ecstatic with this draft.

that was the goal going in... and we've been luckier than expected... Vontae fell to us so we didn't have to reach for Butler, Matthews, Nicks etc. And we we're able to obtain an extra 5th and still get Smith who we probably wanted all along.

My thoughts going in is that we'd end up with either Butler or Smith ....we got Davis AND Smith !!! Glad they got it right and prioritized db over wr.

I am in love with this draft class too. We have picked guys in this draft that in going to anchor our secondary for years to come. If people aren't excited about that I dont know what will excite them

How people are mad about this draft is mindboggling to me. By 2010, this secondary is going to be amazing.
