i went to the game in buffalo today, and i took my bashing from those idiots like a good fan, but when i was in the parking lot continuing the tailgating festivities, a guy in a ZT jersey walked by a group of drunk bills fans and they started launching beer bottles and cans at the guy just for wearing ZT jersey....then 10 mins later, 10 of these bill fan idiots jumped 5 dolphins fans which ensued into a huge parking lot brawl...now im not one to say well the dolphins fan didnt say anything to get it going, but come on now...over a jersey...yelling ZT sucks and launching bottles at this guy? far as im concerned thats the last dolphins game i go to in buffalo...ITS NO WONDER THEY CANT SELL OUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE THESE TYPES OF FANS...almost as bad as oakland:tantrum:

my buddy is a bills fan, and we've been trying to get a buffalo/miami road trip going for next season, thanks for the info, covering up my phins jersey when i go, although i'm sure if we scored on that last drive, or maybe attempted a pass in the first half it might have been a different situation.

There will always be a small number of jerkoffs in every stadium. Buffalo is no exception. While I don't discount your story, it would seem unlikely for one dude to get jumped after the Bills win, unless he was foolish enough to say something stupid. Then again, there are some major drunks that go there.

The Bills actually sell more tickets to thier non-sellouts than many NFL teams stadiums capacity. Check it out...

Just like anywhere else in the country, if you act cool, you'll be fine. There is nothing wrong with cheering your team and yelling. Just don't be an idiot and you'll be fine...

Doesn't surprise me for some reason......sorry to hear that though. I live in MA, and have no desire to ever go to dolphins game in Buffalo or against the Jets in NJ.

A small number, I have been to alot of bills games and I will tell you it is not a small number when it comes to Buffalo. I was at the game today and realized why it has been 4 years since I was to my last game up there. No not every bills fan is a jerkoff, but they definitely have more than a small number. I wore a Zach Thomas jersey today. Its pretty bad when you take a 10 year old with you and they get scared because of the things that the bills fans are chanting and the way that they are acting:fire:

I think the idiot factor at all NFL venues is on the increase in recent years, and Buffalo is no exception.

I've had generally good experiences at many NFL stadiums where Buffalo was the visiting team. The key is to expect to take some crap, don't take it personally, and definitely don't act like an *** at an away game.

Sorry you had a bad experience in Buffalo but I don't think we're any better or worse than other NFL stadiums.

Pats fans are by far the most pathetic, btw.

I dont want to go on the road trip because of the glorious splendor of ralph wilson and dolphin stadium, I'm in NJ and have been to jets and giants games..blah, I understand fans and their "jerk-off-ed-ness". my point was being the game being as one sided as it was, it might not have been as bad a time for the opposite teams fans if it were a more competitive game. (whomever they had been).

in my post, i commented on how they threatened my grandfather for wearing a fins hat. i nearly got in a fight defending him. they are classless, for the most part. i hate to generalize fans, but the ones i encountered today behaved horribly.

Actually, Buffalo has a reputation for having some of the most classless fans in the league. Even former Phins players have told stories about the fans mooning their team bus and throwing bottles and cans at the bus BOTH before and after games.

That is pretty fuuked up man. I went to Miami for a game last year and the fins fans were pretty cool. I cant explain why you would want to fight another dude over a game, especially if you won? I have been to alot of road games and never had any problem, maybe because I have some serious knuckle game? You know how the old saying goes, "Real recognizes Real"
