You can probably put this in the Melarky thread but it's horrible on both sides of the ball. Why only 12 rushes for Ronnie? Why all the passes on 1st down when we need to keep the D from crushing culpepper? Why not roll culpepper out of the pocket for God's sake? Why is it everytime we blitz we give up a big play? I'm crushed and very po'd.

Why Is Ronnie Throwing On Our 2 Pt Conversion Try?

Can someone explain to me why Ronnie is throwing on the 2 pt conversion attempt instead of Culpepper? I can't believe this play calling.

As Sean Salisbury just said on ESPN, put a fork in this team their done. I am a huge fin fan guys but this team is very overrated.

Yeah, that's why he was able to drive the dolphins down for the tying score.

yeah. we are terrible. just terrible.

Hey another "bash Mularkey" thread!! Great. :rolleyes2

FACT is, Players get benched - Coaches do NOT. That is reality in the NFL unless the Coach has a heart attack (Martz in St Louis) or something really strange. So alla you people saying Fire Mularkey are just shouting into the wind - nobody is listening - ain't gonna happen - go ahead and scream.

There are many options for Mularkey and Saban here. They may insert new offensive plays and shift things around - shake things up. Hopefully. IMHO the Dolphins should speed up the game and run a 2-minute Offense very often which relieves pressure on the O-Line and forces the D into basic coverage patterns. That is exactly what Cincinnati and other teams are doing. Every D is blitzing these days. No O-Line can pass protect forever.

IMO Mularkey is getting too much heat - he called a conservative but decent game last week, vs Tennessee. Recognizing that his QB was moving very slow and controlling things on the ground. Now for some reason at Houston they decide to air it out. Obviously Saban was involved in the game plan, not just Mularkey. Maybe we'll get an explanation in the presser...

Im not sticking a fork in us. Last year after we lost to cleveland i gave up and stopped watching, and soon as i turned my back they turned a 3-7 record into a 9-7 record. I am very upset with our team though, and dont see this happening but im not ready to stick the fork in just yet.

alot of season left guys. WE HAVE BEEN IN EVERY GAME!!!

Exactly, we actually went into the fourth quarter with the lead against Pittsburgh, and ever game since then has been close. Granted two of the games were against teams that i had down as instant W's, but were still in the games. Thats why there are 16 games in a season, so after 4 games you still have a chance to do something

Relax. The season is NOT over just yet. Look at how the Steelers squeeked into the playoffs last year.

We actually had a game last year where McGahee only got the ball 8 TIMES!!!

Mularkey quits.... and now McGahee is the leading rusher in the NFL.....

go figure.
