Pennington isn't the QB anymore, so maybe now David Martin would last the entire season. Martin was taking some wicked hits over the middle with Penningtons lollypop throws.

David Martin = Stopgap = gone, BP made it clear he wants a receiving TE, he wouldnt have said that if Martin was the guy he wanted.

I like David Martin a lot, but we have to know he's healed from his injury. Also, he isn't our future, so he'd be a stop gap and since this is a pretty solid TE draft class i'd prefer to look there first.

i am ok with bringing him back as our #2 TE if we can get a good TE through FA or the draft. i wouldnt mind seeing him and fasano togther again i thought they played very well with each other to bad he got hurt or he would still be here.

he is still a FA no one has signed him as far as i know
