Honestly, I want to see what the OT we picked up from Houston can do with coaching and time. He played FBS ball and only has been in the league two years. His 2018 season as a starter wasn't good, but he had a great playoff game. He was supposed to have the physical skillset for OT and lacked experience coming out in the draft. As others have mentioned, the league has changed. QB's HAVE to get the ball out quickly and elite LTs are less of a necessity than a complete and competent oline. That IS the NE blueprint. This kid, Prince, and even Davis are worth looking at to see if they can put it together with good coaching, playcalling and a QB that holds the ball less than 3 seconds a snap.

Well if you want to tank and you eliminate all your pass rushers, OL, and veteran leadership … yeah, that should work nicely.

I'm sure they want to move on from Reshad Jones, he's not young and he costs too much. But, I doubt they get Trent Williams for him.

That's being a little too optimistic. He gave up 12 sacks last year and was a major contributor to why the Texans offensive line was horrific. I don't hold out much hope for his future.

Reshad Jones for Trent Williams? Why not? Washington has to move Williams, he won't play for them. All-Pro talent, brings some attitude:

Also, I don't expect Michael Deiter to be moved outside, but he was an all Big 12 Left Tackle in 2017, his movement skills/kickslide are pretty good:

How about Patrick Mahomes for Kalen Ballage dude? That would totally rock...

Are you out of your mind?

Nobody will trade for Jones. Look at what FA safeties are left that any team can get without losing a draft pick

He clearly wasn't ready. But that isn't remotely surprising considering his experience and background. And wanting to see what he can do is not being optimistic. I don't know, nor am I saying he will improve, but he is considered physically capable. Like Davis and Prince. I didn't say I believed he would replace Tunsil THAT would be too optimistic. BTW, Watson held that ball longer than all but one staring QB in the NFL last year. He was a contributor to those 12 sacks as well. 2019 is about finding talent, not winning games. He is worth a look.

Williams has to go, won't play for the Redskins. Look at what the Texans got for Clowney...

Dude. No one want’s Reshad Jones, especially not for one of the elite LT’s in the game, it’s totally unrealistic LOL

Do you understand that Williams is refusing to play for the Redskins?

"The crux of the dispute, The Post and others have reported, stems not only from medical care Williams received from Washington’s staff — including what Williams believes was a misdiagnosis of a growth on his head — but distrust rooted in the sacrifices Williams made for a team that, during nearly the entirety of his nine-year tenure, has been in some form of chaos."

-- He's totally pissed off at the Redskins and wants nothing to do with them. And the Texans got what for Clowney- Barkavious Mingo, Jake Martin and a 3rd rd pick? Jake who?

I understand that. Do you understand what we just traded Tunsil for? And do you think Williams wants to come to Miami? It is ridiculous to think we could possibly realistically trade Reshad Jones for him.

I guess we could ask ourselves if Tunsil was demanding to be traded and said he no longer wanted to play in Miami would we realisticly think trading him straightup for a 31 year old safety make sense?

Would you ever have thought that Clowney would be traded for the pittance that he was traded for? If you say yes I'll just call it right now, you're FOS. Williams and Jones are both 31 I think, Tunsil is 25 and that certainly added to his trade value.

Is Tunsil 31?
