Hey people this has been really bothering me how about the media stops giving credit to the jets and patriots....and more to the dolphins....Omg for crying out loud this team has gone from 1-15 to a potential afc east title.What do you think?
 
Why does it bother you? What bearing does it have on the Dolphin's season?

BTW....I think you may've messed up your words a little. I think the media give PLENTY of attention to the Jets and Pats.
 
Because miami hasn't accomplished anything yet. Turning our troubles around from a year ago is a great personal achievement, but we still aren't int he playoffs.

The Pats are, and will be for many years at least, still remembered as the dominant force they were the last several seasons. Everyone knows they would be a better team without their injuries.

And the Jets, well they haven't accomplished anything either, but they have Favre. So you just have to accept.

You know how Miami gets respect? By winning our next 3 games. After that, the media, even the guys who hate Miami, will have to grin and say "yeah, those dolphins are pretty good this year."

But if Miami doesn't get to the playoffs, we didn't accomplish much, and all these wins are just for fans and not a whole bunch else. Spare me the "we're heading in the right direction crap". If we don't get in, from the position we're in right now, then we failed our goal. I think Sporano would agree with me.
 
just keep winning, all else will follow, one day it will be a big surprise for everyone
 
Who cares about the talking heads in the media and what they say...Makes them look stupid later on - save for Schefter, Hodge, and Cris Carter, all of whom have picked Miami to win the AFCE.
 
Honestly, I've seen the media give us a lot of props the past few days. Were actually winning the division in quite a few predictions.

I think he was being sarcastic and this went right over your head. :lol:

The media is always giving more props to the Jets and Pats, and he was just pointing out that they are now finally giving us a little attention and not them...in a sarcastic way.
 
We deserve attention, yes. I don't feel we demand a great deal of respect though. We have done very little to earn it. We have barely beaten all of our opponents (sans the Patsies lol) and our defense has been a joke at times. We are a threat to win any game, but we aren't going to roundhouse kick anyone in the mouth anytime soon.

I'm actually sort of sick of all the Dolphins love, I feel like it's going to jinx them.
 
We can not lose another game this year WIN THE SB and those punks at ESPN will say will it is because Brady got hurt or we got a lot of help. They hate us and have to not show us be the people that own ESPN, CBS, Fox, and ABC all live in New York and are NE and Jets fans. For decaids we have keep them out of the playoffs and as much as I hate the Jets and Pats is how much they hate us. I just do not own a network.
 
I rather not have anyone talk about the Dolphins until after the season
 
i liked when the dolphins were predicted to lose every game and be laughed at...makes it that much sweeter
