Not saying Sage would be an upgrade over Matt just yet. But maybe Sage's awareness would be better.

After all Matt did miss several wide-open passes on crucial plays (lex in the flat for a big 3rd down conversion and Clay(?) in the on the right side of the endzone.

I honestly haven't seen much of Sage's play since he's left Miami though. So what strengths would he have? After so many years being a fin back up, how bout we give Sage a whirl finally?

If anything, some qb turnstile tinkering could only help with SFL.

Just sayin'...

I say we do it college style and rotate the QB's just for fun

How many qb's do we have to go through? You can plug any qb in and it will be the same result. It has been that way since Tony has been in there. It is a coaching issue not a qb issue. Tony is way to conservitive to be a nfl coach. The end of the half just proved how gutless Tony is. The whole team turned into a bunch of Tonys.............. GUTLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

NO F-ing way! Matt Moore is doing his job and playing exactly like the QB we need this year. (See Below)

No.

Stick with what has been working. Matt Moore looked horrid last night. So reason to give Sage a chance.

However, I do like the idea of rotating QBs. If we go that route there's no way the offense can get into any kind of rhythm.

Although he wasn't great by any means, I can't say that Moore looked particularly bad last night. It seemed to me that the receivers and referees made him look pretty terrible. He did miss several open receivers, which is definitely on him, but the pick-6 was absolutely pass interference and most all of the receivers had a drop or two. I would list him behind coaching, playcalling, receivers, defense, O-Line, and referees as to why we lost. Anyone who is not a bonafide Pro-Bowl QB would not make any difference whatsoever in the fate of this team. We just need to take our lumps, jettison this entire staff (Ireland included), and rebuild next year with the #1 pick in the draft and a good deal of cap space. We won't be a playoff team yet but we can be a lot more competitive immediately.

Sage will not be a upgrade over Matt Moore. He flat out admitted that he is not even close to game shape when they signed him. He was clearly the cheapest option around. It boggles the mind why they did it. At that point you might as well elevate Devlin from te practice squad.

Give it time. It was pretty obvious last night that Moore will be injured in the next few weeks. I'm surprised he got up from some of those hits last night.

Sage will be an effective QB, but take you out of the Luck Sweepstakes IMO.
