Ive been thinking and this sounds like a likely and pretty positive offseason.

QB

Sign Flynn, let Henne walk and extend Moore. Keep Devlin.

RB

Keep Bush, Thomas, let Slaton walk, draft someone late, I want new blood with potential at #3.

WR

Sign Meachem, we need a legit #2 on this offense. That would be Marshall, Meachem, Bess, Hartline and Gates.

TE

Draft Egnew on the 4th to complement Fasano and Clay.

OL

Draft Reiff, not exciting and 3rd offensive line pick of this regime but non the less the best option at #9. Jerry is a VC clone, lacking the size and arm length of an OT but more of a technician and upper body pusher than a leg driven pile pusher. So he is Reiff´s backup. Sign Grubbs for RG.

DL

Resign Soliai, Merling and Langford walk, running more of hybrid should allow us this. If anything low profile signings and late round picks can round this off.

DE/OLB

Let Francis go.

LB

Draft Bruce Irwin in the 2nd, the 3-4 wave makes him drop. Extend Burnett.

CB

Let Allen go. Carroll is ready for the nickel and Wilson for the dime. Pick a CB on the 5th to compete and to take the 5th spot.

FS

Let Culver go, keep everybody else. Draft Robinson on the 3rd.

we wont have the room under the cap tp get all 3 of those guys plus Paul too....at best you might be able to get Flynn plus one more guy and that is if they let Paul go.

Ozzy rules!!

Carey and Allen ate up a pretty large chunk of cap space last season, they both saw their contracts run out at starter salary. Plus we are not cutting anyone, so no cap penalties either. Meachem shouldn't cost much, Flynn should get a multi year contract that doesn't paralize us through 2012. We also could simply not extend Moore and Burnett, as they still will comeback next year. Soliai is a must. Finally, Bell could be let go if it were necessary.
