I can name a couple of players but I rather not. We have had many underachievers but how is it going to change if it has not in the last seasons?

Do we really have a complete staff?

You see!!!

Dont ya just love negative people?

We just do it!!, how in the world , we are fans of a moronic organization THAT ARE like the Cards?, aren't you looking foward to become a colt or a raven?, it looks like some people HERE are!! GO FOR IT!!

Ps Good luck to all of you that are here to dish the DOLPHINS ORG, but you know what?, I"M DOLPHIN FOR LIFE!!

Romio, i'm just making your point more darcker!! Sarcastic

Well, whatever ever you do don't suggest any trades. They all have their fantasies and dreams, and if you suggest trading one of their dream boys they
will pounce on you like a pack of wolves, attacking from every angle. Face it our offense sucks, it's bad; the players you think are good, aren't. How are we going to be a winning franchise again. Rebuild that which was broken. Anew foundation for our offense must be laid. Ah....but who has the guts to do it? Cam Cameron? ...........We may be in trouble for a long time to come. It takes true leadership to get out of this kind of mess, and in this case it also takes a surgeon's knife. Our offense needs a transplant. A new heart, liver and a lung. We must sacrifice the beloved icons RB and CC. We need high first day draft picks to rebuild the offense and fortify the defense. Bye Bye Ronnie Brown and Chris Chambers.

After this season, there will be no more excuses for the "drive killers". If they continue to underachieve, and people here STILL make excuses for them, then you'll have to invent another word for clueless.

Must really suck having that cloud overhead all the time, having no hope for the future, I really feel sorry for you man. And if you want to get rid of RB and CC, you're obviously not smart enough to think positively about much of anything. Sure must suck to be you. :boohoo:

What did I say. When you question their gods they attack you personally, not the content of what you said. I have great hope, but it's in Dom Capers and Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas and the rest of our #4 ranked defense. I don't have confidence in an organization that can't fire Mike Mularkey when he obviously wasn't doing his job last year. God bless him and his family but he doesn't have to be a Dolphins coach to continue to live in Dade county. This offense isn't going anywhere and a couple of adjustments isn't going to fix it. It needs a new foundation, an overhaul. That!!!!!!!!!! is where hope is, not staying with the status quo thinking that this is surely the year that Chris and Ronnie run roughshod over the NFL. Wake up dream boys!

Oh Man! I am not going to attack you but I cannot wait to see you eat crow next season. This is about Ronnie Brown, not about CC, Ronnie has shown he can play, and with Cam Cameron leading us, I believe he will be used to his full potential, and that is when IMO you will change your tune about our running back situation.

If Ronnie was a bad back he wouldn't have any trade value. If he couldn't play no one would wnat him and his name wouldn't be mentioned. It's more about how good are Ricky and Sammie and how bad do we need a LT and an OLB. You say Ronnie is a future pro bowler and an elite back who can do it all. At least I assume you think that, why else would you be so vehement.
I say he is good and has trade value and we can give the carries to Ricky and Sammie and perhaps a draft pick and we don't need Ronnie. More than we need Ronnie we need Poluzny,Willis, Stanton or Leonard. We have no LT.
We need, or rather want an elite corner. Something has to give........ Ronnie doesn't pick his holes well and doesn't have breakaway speed. I think his longest run all year last year was 40 something. He barely made a 1000 yds, less than the rookie Joeseph Addai who played in a two back system at Indy and hardly played at the beginning of the season. Package Ronnie and ship him out. Besides with Green Bay or the Giants he probably goes to the playoffs next year. If we do this kind of deal maybe we can meet him there. If we don't.......not much is going to change is it????????

We got to start trading or cutting the underachievers. Need to send a message to the team that if your just here to collect a paycheck your not going to be here at all.

OMG, for crying out loud!!!!!! Nevermind, I'm leaving.

The only untouchable players on offense should be Ronnie Brown and Vernon Carey, young guys who still have a chance of getting much better. Ricky Williams is untouchable as well, but just because his off-field problems make him a bad risk to other teams and the Dolphins could never get fair value for him. Everyone else on the offense can and should be traded if we can get fair value for them. Needless to say the fair value for people like Chambers and McMichael is much less than what most of their fans say it is.

Ronnie has done pretty well in his first 2 years. The only reason he hasn't done better is because of things out of his control like this season (2006) getting the broken hand and missing 3 1/2 games, the offensive line injuries and position changes, QB problems, etc. In 2005, he played well also considering he missed the last 2 games due to a sprained knee/ankle and he was splitting carries with Ricky.

Even with all of the above factors, Ronnie still has done better in his first 2 years as far as yards per carry goes than LaDainian Tomlinson.

Ronnie Brown ... in first 2 years in the NFL:

448 carries, 1915 yards, 4.3 yards per carry
65 pass receptions, 508 yards, 7.8 yards per reception
That comes to 4.72 yards per touch

LaDainian Tomlinson ... in first 2 years in the NFL:

711 carries, 2,919 yards, 4.05 yards per carry
138 pass receptions, 856 yards, 6.2 yards per reception
That comes to 4.45 yards per touch

If Ronnie had 711 carries like LT did in his first 2 years @ 4.3 ypc, he would have 3,057 yards ... pretty damn good ... Pro Bowl good. Ronnie has run the ball over 37% less than LT in his first 2 years and he's had about half as many receptions. LT got his hands on the ball 40% more often than Ronnie in his first 2 years.

That's THE problem, Ronnie hasn't been getting the carries or the pass receptions that LT and Larry Johnson have been getting. No telling how good Ronnie's stats would be if he could have gotten more plays called for him by the OC and he didn't have the injuries, didn't share carries, etc. That's the big difference between how LT did his first 2 years and Ronnie's first 2 years. LT has also been very lucky with injuries and the Chargers made him the featured back since day one when he was drafted.

In 2005, Ricky Williams averaged 4.4 yards per carry. Ronnie Brown averaged 4.4 yards per carry ... as a rookie. Ricky was a 5 year veteran in 2005.

Ricky averaged 3.5 yards per carry as a rookie and 4.0 yards per carry in his 2nd year. Ronnie averaged 4.2 yards per carry in his second year behind an Oline that had injuries, position changes .... not to mention all the QB problems, receivers dropping passes, etc.
