Tannehill was on the ground way too much, and we couldn't run for crap against one of the worst run D's in the league.
Jonathan Martin wasn't awful but allowed a freebie sack early and really struggled.
John Jerry was passable.
Pouncey played well but had some costly penalties.
Incognito was awful. Terrible penalties, struggled to open up running lanes.
But by far the worst performance came from the 10 million dollar man Jake Long. Consistent pressure allowed on Tannehill, on his ass all day long, WAY too many penalties, but hell that isn't new now is it? If that was anybody other than Jake Long, he would be cut next year. He's been playing not elite, not average, but BELOW average all year and today he proved that he's playing like one of the worst left tackles in football. There is no justification to resigning him for 12 million. There is no justification to resigning him at all. We can do much better for much less. We need to stop investing all of this money into the offensive line, especially when they have games like that.
