That is a strange thing to notice and I appreciate you sharing your discovery.

Nice article and it does ring true. Sparano is great at keeping them focused and getting them ready, as well as never letting them quit.

Hopefully Tony is learning from his mistakes on game management and is able to stay in S. Florida a long time.

Typical of TheDon74 to post an article I had posted days ago! Too doped up on visine to even notice...

i think andy choen is a great writter who actully wants the fins to win. i uded to get the dolphin digest and his articles were always the best.

I am not totally sold on Sparano. His clock mgmt is horrible. Indy and NO both cost us wins.

The game in Buffalo...you just cannot play like that if you expect to be a playoff team. There was no excuse for losing the Bills in that fashion. None. Its his job to get/keep this team ready to play.

So to answer this post...the reason that I don't "love the resiliency" of this team is because in order to bounce back, it means you had to be flat on your ***. And we have been flat on our *** far too many times under Sparano this season.

I know hes not going anywhere. He was handpicked by BP and we know that Parcells does not own up to mistakes gladly. So Sparano is here (for better or worse) probably for two more seasons, at least.

We opened up last season not ready to play, we opened up this season not ready to play. Hes proven to be a bonehead game manager. Lets hope he spends some time with Parcells or another coach and figures out how to get the guys ready in the first game and keep them from losing to teams with players like the Bills. If not, then after next season, I think we should consider making a change.

I'm not going to deem you a Sparano hater, because it seems like you're on the fence... But Sparano did not cost us the game vs. Indy. You can blame Ted Ginn for dropping that TD pass. The New Orleans game was more of a collapse by the whole team, can't pin that one on Sparano.

If you want to blame losses on Sparano, than you have to give him credit for wins. It goes both ways. Even if you blame every loss on Sparano, he is still 17-11. A couple of mistakes doesn't make him a bad coach, you just have to be patient.

Next year..I'd like to try and WIN the first 3 games and not start off in the hole.
But thats just me...

Yah, I hope for a complete season next year. I went through hell the first 3 weeks talking about the Fins, but now they are right in the middle of playoff race.

And the Superbowl Champs lose to Cleveland in the middle of a playoff race, it happens especially in divisional match-ups.

I am not a hater. I do hate that fact that he doesn't seem to know when to use TOs at the end of halves. Drives me crazy. I hate the fact that it seems to take us having our backs to the wall before we play with a sense of urgency.

But I have been a Fins fan since 1971 (38 years) and good Lord willing I'll be a fan for 38 more years.
