Granted, the man doesn't have the best judgemant, but he did overcome a lot of early season obstacles. With a quarterback no better than frerotte, and with running backs and recievers who were less than average, he managed to finish 9-7.

Since Linehan was his offensive coordinator, he must be at least familiar with the offense that Linehan ran. I don't think that he is goimg to get a head coaching job, and therefore, may be interested in being an offensive coordinator.

What do you guys think?

Mike Tice is a joke. He is as bad as some of the players in the league when it comes to controversy. No thanks.

How much trouble could he get in as a co-ordinator?

LOL. WHO knows? But judging by his track record, I seriously doubt he has even crossed Saban's mind. He just wouldn't fit with the current coaches and team. Tice really hurt himself with some of the antics in Minny. I can see him starting over at O-line coach and having to work his way back up again.

I personally think hes not the sharpest knife in the kitchen... I not sure if its because hes a big burly beastly loooking guy... But I would much rather have a genius as an OC... ala Linehan, Martz, ect..

He was 9-7 with a team that had worse talent on offense than us.

He is familiar with Linehans offense.....

Ya, but the reason he got them to 9-7 was because of their defense and the cupcake schedule they had when they were winning all those games.

............a quick work of advice..........

If you're going to even remotely try to usher the name "Mike Tice" for our OC position, you PROBABLY should avoid starting off your thread with "Granted, the man doesn't have the best judgement." ;)
