I mean they all like to train in miami during off-season so I was wondering how come they don't come to play for the dolphins? Is it because there is too many distractions if thye play at home? boy I would love to have someone like ed reed on our team

Jimmy J. wanted it to be all about him (ego) developing young players, but I think his lack of big signings ultimately hurt. Wanny and Spielman just couldn't evaluate talent at any level so....

I might catch heat for this opinion but it's just an opinion. Anyone remember if there were big FA's at the end of Shula's reign? Am I wrong there?

That is the million dollar question. Why did we not trade for Edge, instead we are going to pay a backup RB more money than Edge got and more than he is worth. We should have traded a 3rd or 2nd for Edge and traded down for whatever we could have gotten.

Most UM guys are ballers and we didn't open our wallets to other team's top free agents during the Wanny era....he believed in "taking care of our own" and keeping "our core guys" as the foundation for success.
