The Idea of Miami trading Booker or Chambers, their #2(not NE) and of course the 9 spot to Detroit or Cleveland and get CJ??

I know I'm nuts, but what the heck. I'd definitely spit out my beer if that happened!

If it's for Calvin Johnson, then I'd be thrilled. BUt for anyone else, I'd be pissed.

I think it'd be a waste. He's either going #1 or #4 IMO. It would be much cheaper to try and trade up to #4.

Why would TB trade out of the spot to get the player they are targeting?? That's why Miami would need to get a deal done with Det or Cle.

How do you know they are targeting him? Rumors were everywhere during the Senior Bowl that they wished they could trade down cause they were crazy about Amobi Okoye.

The price is just too steep IMO to trade up past 4.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. CJ is the one player i would give up alot for. Players like that dont come around often enough. This guy will be an instant star.

If we really wanted to trade with TB for Johnson, we could give them Chambers or Booker, our #9 pick and 1 of our 2nd round picks. If only that becomes a reality. I would love to have CJ in Miami.

All of the reports I've heard has Gruden looking at no one else.

There was reports after the combine that Tampa Bay really liked Okoye and would be willing to trade down for him. Not only would they get the player they wanted but also extra pick(s).

With the signing of Carter, that may no longer be the case.

There you go. CJ with Clayton and Galloway? Pretty darn potent. Miami wants CJ, they need to trade up to 3.

No thanks. Trading up that high would be way too costly. If it's a speedy / dominating / deep threat WR you want, why not just give the Raiders our 2nd round pick for R. Moss??...

That way we'd still have our #9 pick, along with that extra 2nd rounder we got in the Welker trade. C. Johnson will be a stud, but we'd be mortgaging too much in the process of moving up in my opinion....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I'm not so sure I'd rather send the raiders our 2nd round pick for Randy Moss. Moss doesn't seem like a team player to me, and he seems to love to take games off. Maybe that was because he didn't like the way the Raiders were going, I don't know. All I know is I'd rather have Calvin Johnson over Randy Moss.

That being said, if we do make the trade we should do it with the Browns. Based on the draft pick point system the #3 pick is worth 2200 points. Our #9 and #40 are worth a combined 1850 points. If we could send the Browns Booker with those two picks, I would accept that. I don't want to get rid of Chambers because I think he still has the potential to be good, and given the fact defenses would be more scared of Johnson, he'll get more favorable match ups.

Speculation aside, I'm fully willing to back Cameron and Mueller with whoever they decide to draft. I mean, what choice do I have besides think somehow I know more than the guys who's job is to find out what players will fit with their system.

GO DOLPHINS!!!
