He reminds me a bit of old friend Olivier Vernon who we are trying to replace.Similar undersized DE who might be a better 3/4 OLB. Does he fit the Fins scheme at either position? Should we be worried about his "party drugs" issues at OH ST? He looks to be solid value at #13. Man I am having trouble settling on a guy for Miami at 13. I have been through Hargreaves(probably off the board),Elliot(same) Alexander(seems to be slipping), Apple(too high for my tastes)Lawson(can he be a pass rusher in the NFL?)Lee(too soft)Robinson(not a real need)Jackson III(too high)Conklin(can he eventually play LT?). I have more questions than answers. I can't remember the Fins being in such an iffy spot in Round 1.

I've seen Noah Spence mocked quite a bit in the 2nd round lately. It will be interesting to see how high he actually goes, but I'd be very surprised if he's the target (or a target) at #13. Kevin Dodd might be more the type the team looks for with his size. I love Dodd's upside. He's another guy, though, whose mocked everywhere from top 10 to bottom of the first.

I'm with you that it looks like it could be a tough decision at #13. I'm still holding out hope for Vernon Hargreaves, but that might be unrealistic. Someone I've been thinking about lately is Karl Joseph. That would be a big boost to the secondary, but wouldn't address the biggest needs either.

Jake Conklin's great if he can play LT. If not, I think that's too high. Apple seems like a reach, but I do love his upside. MacKenzie Alexander might actually be in the running.

All of these Ohio State party drug users scare the hell out of me. This was clearly a big part of that culture there. I'm pretty sure spence will also automatically be enrolled in the drug program, thats a huge red flag for me.

If you bring them to Miami they'll be surrounded by this stuff, except the girls will be hotter, the drugs better, and these guys will be rich and famous.

If multiple guys drafted from Ohio State fail drug tests quickly in the NFL, I won't be surprised one bit.

As a player I like Spence, I don't love him with a top 25 pick, but anything after that I do. He plays really hard, and can rush the passer. 2 traits that get you drafted high.

If not for off-field concerns, I could get behind Spence in the 3rd. With the off-field issues, I'd say 4th or later. He's not big or fast, and he's an average athlete without an elite athletic trait. He also failed to hit multiple production marks. Can you blame that on his off-field issues? Some of it, sure, but prior to his 2015 season at Eastern Kentucky, Spence's season sack high was 7.5. He doesn't do anything that screams, 'Draft me!'

I would have been willing to gamble on Frank Clark and Randy Gregory last season, but I don't see why you'd gamble on a guy with limited tools like Spence.

Here's my list -

1. Prayer - Myles Jack
2. Would be great - Zeke Elliot
3. Would be slightly less great (many will disagree) - Hargreaves
4. Would be very happy - Shaq Lawson
5. Wouldn't be partiularly happy - Apple or Lee (coincidentally the 2 guys mocked to us now in most mock drafts)

Agree. What kind of person you have to be get kicked of the poison nut football team?

One of the few differences between Dion J & Spence is you know already that Spence has substance abuse issues.
