Mine actually runs 5 rounds deep of scouting reports and a solid 2 1/2 rounds of film sessions.

I don't know if I could walk away from this draft unhappy. Sooo many good prospects, such a deep draft. I really believe there will be 32 teams walking away from this draft like they just won the lottery. Nitpicking value aside, this draft represents just a slew of tall rangy secondary guys at safety, corner and nickel. They're all @ 6'1, 200 lbs. Perfect. A ton of the 255 lb. edge guys.

I've said it before, this draft was made for Jimmy Johnson. Get as many picks as you can in the middle rounds and bolster the heck out of that defense.

A starter at guard could possibly be addressed as late as the fifth round.

I don't know, this draft just seems like it's starting in the second round and ending in the third round in terms of my perception of talent.

Crazy, huh...

First you say that Corey Dvais is a better TE than Njoku...and you follow that up by saying we can land a starting guard in round 5?:bobdole:

Pffft! Hahaha...nah, I just said Corey offered more value as a big bodied receiver than Njoku at 22 in my opinion.

I would have scoffed at the thought of a starting guard in round 5 also. But I'm basing it off of the hit % of correct picks in mocks over a five year span that someone posted earlier. Turns out Charlie Campbell has a better percentage than anyone on NFL.com so I actually think there's a legitimate chance we can plug the guard spot in round five...I know, crazy.

Ben Braden, maybe? A lot of people like him.. so it's not impossible but kind of risky to bet on finding a late rounder.. the njoku / davis thing tho.... idk

Just wait until Tannenbum screws up our picks. Then you will feel the pain and unhappiness I have endured ever since he joined the organization.:err:

You thought last year was a bad draft?

I know the Tunsil pick was about as lucky as anyone can get.

I think Howard and Drake are two very talented players. I think Howard is going to be special.

Carroo was as dumb as it gets but who knows what he'll turn out to be.

I wish every year our first 3 rds are like that minus Carroo lol

Carroo will likely end up like Matthews. Slow to develop and once he starts making plays, he will leave for another team when he contract is up.
We wasted picks to be a farm team for another team.

You proved my point. The Caroo trade was the height of stupidity. We would be in a much more advantageous position had that moron not made that trade. Caroo may turn out to be a decent player, but was he worth what we gave up for his production. Will we ever get the value from him when we have Landry, Stills and Parker. He may only get 8-10 plays a game and be targeted one or two times.:rolleyes2:

I agree with you but some people here still think that trade was fine because "Carroo might develop".......he might but not as long as we have Parker,Stills and Laundry and right now we could really use those picks in rounds 3 and 4

Ozzy rules!!
