Dalton was named to the Pro Bowl this morning. Just looking at the stats comparison:

Dalton: 3,398 yds passing; 64.2% completion percentage; 19 TD - 17 Int; Passer Rating of 83.5

Tannehill: 4,045 yds passing; 66.4% completion percentage; 27 TD - 12 Int; Passer Rating of 92.8

It's been said before, but there is something seriously wrong with the Pro Bowl selection system.

Mike Pouncey made the Pro Bowl this year. That's all you need to know.

That is total BS ! you know it a popularity contest that pro bowl

Would rather him not go anyway- and risk an injury even though low likelohood.

It still baffles me why people care so much about a completely meaningless game where tackling is optional.

Lmao, the pro bowl is a joke. I didn't think Tannehill should be in, but if Dalton was selected as an alternate, Tannehill should have. He had a better statistical year with worse supporting cast

Dalton is the 4th alternate, he didn't make PB. he is a replacement.

The Pro Bowl has become so diluted that it needs to be eliminated. The final straw had to be Dionne Sanders and Michael Irvin picking teams. Ridiculous.

If your looking for meaningful achievement, focus on the All Pro selections.

Dalton is terrible. Only Omar Kelly thinks he is better than RT. That is all you need to know.

it's always been that way, it's worse now but AP has always been much more meaningful than PB apps.

the problem is the PB still does great in the ratings so they will keep it.

Earning a trip to Hawaii used to be an honor. Now the only selection that means anything is All-Pro. With inflated contracts any player can easily afford to vacation over there anyways. The pro bowl no longer holds any reputation for seasonal greatness anymore, merely name recognition.

Pro Bowl should be eradicated. It's an embarrassing joke.
