Only saw through the 3rd qtr and didn't see him.

Starting DBs looked good.

He did alright. As of right now he's played special teams well. The only thing i saw that Allen did wrong was when K.Johnson went in motion he didn't fallow him on time and he was open when the play started. J.Allen caught up and knocked him out of bounds right when he caught the ball.

Lets just say that for the most part...whenever his name was mentioned during the game....there was usually a not so good play that just happened.

To me, dude looks seriously lost....I'm talking blind guy in a maze lost.

i thought he played pretty damn well at corner, he had one play where he almost gave up a long gain cause he slipped, but he recovered to make a shoestring tackle...

i was pleasantly surprised with his performance, and even on special teams (minus the pushing into welker thing)

The usual. make 100 mistakes. This guy is one big dissapointment so far.

ill say this after three games of watching this guy i am extremely disappointed.....yesterday he didnt get beat deep but he had some plays made on him....there was one where he made a shoe string tackle which was pretty lucky....on another he had good coverage and it was a good catch by drew carter

i dont see it in him yet but im gonn astay optimistic but the same things i saw wit jamar fletcher i am seeing now unfortunately....but i have trust in saban and allen to turn things around

Jason Allen is rookie who missed alot of practices. He looks like a rookie who missed alot of practices.

He is someone who is going to have to be brought along slowly and eased into the lineup. I don't expect him to make a positive impact until the second half of the season, at earliest. It might not be until next season.

And this isn't unlike many rookies (who eventually become very good football players). He needs to learn Saban's defense, he needs to get accustomed to the speed of the NFL game, and he needs to get stronger.

However long those things take will go a long way in determining the fate of young Jason, and the impact we can expect for him to have on the Fins.

He looked like a rookie. He made some mistakes out there, but nothing costly this time. You can tell he looked lost at times. You can tell he's not comfortable in this system yet. Once he does, he'll be fine.

what the hell did you people watch? what mistakes did he make? he played mostly corner out there and he did fine, he had that one play on the quick WR hit where he slipped but still made the tackle... besides that he gave up like 2 minimal completions... i thought he did real well at corner out there, i dont know if you guys think if he doesn't have 12431 interceptions at CB that he played bad, but you guys are being critical of a good performance by him

You all AMAZE me. There is such a big jump, in terms of talent, speed, complexity, etc, between college & the pros. JA comes in to camp late & into one of the more complex D's in the NFL & he's struggling. This shouldn't be such a shock. We're into our third preseason game & some of you are trashing him. COME ON! Give him a chance...

very bad rookie right now, cost us the first turnover of the game by pushing a guy right at welker?? Who does that??

Yup. Happens quite commonly with rookie holdouts, especially at positions requiring a lot of study to grow into.

He did make some mental mistakes out there. Did you not see our safeties calling him to follow Keyshawn on the motion, by the time he realized he was supposed to follow Keyshawn, it was too late, Keyshawn made the completion on the other side of the field. He made one other mistake when he followed a WR halfway inside, instead of releasing him and staying home. The RB was left open in the flat.

Like I said before, he looked like a rookie, and with more experience he will be fine.

He had a pretty cool blocking in the back penalty. I don't think he sucks as bad as Fletcher yet but who knows. This MFr could be the 2nd bonafide bust of the Saban era behind Manny. A first round safety shouldn't suck like this in so many ways like JA has.

Ditto

You nailed it.
