I remember when I was like 8 I had a friend that was a dolphins fan, he had his official cap and the shirts and other stuff, the thing is I didn't even knew what football was. then one day I was watching tv and I saw a game(I think it was colts vs dolphins and I also think it was a playoffs game). the team won thanks to a comeback commanded by the great dan marino. since that game I became a big fan of dan marino and the miami dolphins.
 
I was born into being a dolphins fan. I lived near Miami for my first 13 yrs and my dad and grandpa were fans.
 
How does a San Diegan become a fin fan? Well my parents are immigrants, so with no sense of home pride instilled on me. One day my teacher for homework assigned us to choose our favorite football team. This was right when Dan started tearing up the league. So I watched tv that night, and they were highlighting Dan. Boom, I chose the dolphins. Been a fan ever since.
 
i was born in coral springs...was a dolphins fan since birth...moved to new jersey at 5 years old then fought off the evil jets and giants fans and stayed true to the aqua blue!!!
 
when I was a kid I found a Larry Csonka card in a loaf of Wonder Bread....Im not kidding........
 
the hype surrounding the 85 superbowl, and marinos super 84 season. i was just seven years old.
 
Born and Bred fin fan. Grew up in Pompano and Deerfield. My dad and grandfather almost missed me being born cause they were at a game. I would have understood!
 
a kid my mom used to baby sitin was a dolphins fan, on day i went over to his house, his room was covered in aqua & orange, then i saw a dolphins puzzle that he had done and glued, i fell in love wit the puzzle, and eventually the fins
 
when I first found out what football was... I found out who Dan The Man is!!
 
i was a huge fan of them since i can remember. My older brother had a dolphins jacket, and it was a hand me down . Well i liked the jacket so much i told my mom i like the dolphin and the team so i rooted for them. Til this day i have been a fan ever since .

My own story pretty good:

I grew up sort of a Cheifs fan in Kansas, so about 8 or 9 I got wise enough to see the Cheifs playoff future from the past pattern. Show up and die.

Watched a season of dolphins football, and Dan Marino with my older brothers on the dish. Saw my first NFL game Thanksgiving day Dolphins vs Cowboys. Hooked ever since.
 
I was born in West Palm Beach in 76, and my dad was a fin fan since their innaugaral season. I'll have to get some pictures from them of me in my Bob Greise uniform with my coke bottle glasses on under my helmet. I don't even think I was 2 years old yet. Moved to Georgia whan I was 3 or 4 and have stayed loyal to the only team worthy of my attention on Sundays.
