I thought they were a mediocre team coming into the season, so while I loved the big win, I didnt put way too much stock into it.. but now, since that game Denver hasnt committed a turnover and are 5-0 since... Were they just taking us completely for granted or what?

I guess we woke up their *** after we ***** slap them.

the heat screwed them over.

i guess that loss really helped them cause they are on fire right now.

No, our team played to their abilities. We made plays when we needed to and commited fewer penalties. There were also far less missed tackles.

We beat them because: we were at home, we didn't make a bunch of bone-headed mistakes, and we were more balanced on offense and we controlled the tempo and controlled the LOS on both sides of the ball.

I sure which that we had that season opener team back. I wonder what happened to them. :hmmm:

well, it really wasn't a whooping. in fact it was a pretty close game till somewhere in the 4th quarter

although the heat definitely helped, i think the biggest factor was they didnt have any game film on us. What i hve seen every week with miami is that teams are gameplanning us better and better every week. The points above about us not shooting ourselves in the foot constantly are also valid but i think in retrospect we snuck up on them.

Excellent points....

We whooped their a$$ because i was there

Heads would've rolled if they lost for the 3rd straight time I was in Miami for an opener

I'd like to know too, we should have borrowed your gameplan!

It was 6-3 in the 3rd quarter until virtually their entire secondary was injured.

Miami beat them, because they made big plays, they just can't connect right now. They also, didn't beat themself when playing Denver, didn't commit manyh penalties or stupid ones. This team has shown it can be good, but it also has shown that they can play pretty ****ty also. This team needs to start being more consistent, and stop beating themselves. Another reason is becuase Miami is like a totally different team at home than away, which is not good, becuase if they want to be good, then they have to win on the road.
