The trade was:
Jets: Acquired... TE Doug Jolley, a 2005 second-round and two sixth-round draft picks
Oakland: Acquired... 2005 first-round and seventh-round draft picks.
Bad trade for Jets in my opinion. And also you must mean Pat not Sam. :D

We traded Pat not Sam but I have no idea how the Raiders also got a 2nd and 3rd for Patrick Buchanon.

We traded Surtain not sam. The Raiders gave up their second in that trade, so they only moved up.

if surtain had the contract buchannon did he would have went for a 1st, or atleast for what buchannon did. but then again, if he had that contract we wouldnt have traded him. we had to take less because in essence even though the chiefs are getting a solid corner they are indeed doing us a favor by taking such a lucrative contract off our hands for a player that imo isnt what he was a few years ago and will continue on the decline.
