How do the jets have anymore money?

The jets just agreed to a five year $33 mil dollar deal with S kerry rhodes... where on earth are they getting all this money after over paying many of the players they signed already this offseason (Faneca, Pace, Tony richardson, Damien Woody, etc.) ?

Probably by signing the players to back loaded contracts. It will catch up to them in a couple of years and they will probably be in salary cap hell.

Staying under the cap is easy anymore.

The thing is this will catch up to them eventually and will be in a SIT like washington up against the cap every year

Don't care about the cap implication right now. They had to lock Rhodes up and they did, thats the important part. If it were your teams you'd be saying the same thing.

They had to extend Rhodes and imo he's the only one in their off-season who comes close to deserving a big contract. More money than B. Sanders? Lol, idk about that one.

That maybe so but their not picking 1st overall in the draft now are they.

And the Taintriots are not picking 31st nor are they picking 32nd overall.
Or did you forget:
19 & HELL NO!

Actually their picking @ # 7
I just find it rather ironic that some dolpins fans can put any team down after struggling to finish at 1-15.

If you examine the contracts the Jets have signed their FA to they have actually got quite a lot of room left. They won't be heading to a Washington style situation in other words.
