Yeah, its preseason...but damn I was hoping for a cleanup of at least the penalties and mishaps which we have endured under Wanny. So far I see no difference.
Turnovers, dropped balls, missed tackles... :lastyr:

I hope not.

because coaching is overrated in the nfl. you need players. don't be fooled into thinking the pats are all coaching. they have a ton of playmakers and true pros that can execute and are probably the deepest team in football. best scouts by far.

Because for the most part the Dolphins are playing with Wanny players.

You guys on this board absolutely crack me up, the wind blows less directions than most of the posters.

1) We're going 14-2 and the SB now that Saban is here!
2) We didn't need Ronnie Brown now that Ricky's back.
3) We've lost all three pre-season games so the seasons lost, might as well fold our tents.
4) Saban sucks because we should be undefeated at this point!

You guys just gotta relax, the Dolphins weren't a bad team last year, they were a horrible team last year. This wasn't a team that due to injuries cased a bad record, they had bad players, bad coaching, bad game plans (what little there was), bad everything. You don't turn that around in one year.

Be patient, great coaches build great teams by making smart drafts picks, smart FA pickups, etc. You build a solid foundation and the teams come together. You build a solid offensive and defensive plan and the players buy into that system. How do you think NE has done it the last few years?

This team will not be winning a SB this year, they'll be better than last year but if the Fish go 8-8, consider ourselves lucky.

Yeah you are allowed to suck for 2 more games than you may have a problem.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Where have you been!???? Coaching has been underrated. Look at the patriots. Never the superstar players just coachable players. They are not phenominal athletes, they are coachable and believe in the system and players are willing to take a pay cut to get players in just to be on the team.

Then why do the Saints continually suck?

HELLO SIRS IT IS PRE SEASON CALM DOWN
What he said!

And ill add that if you read of saban's comments we're not even gameplanning for some of these pre season games. We're basically just going out and trying to work on certain parts/plays of the offense and defense vs live competition and showing almost nothing from our playbook to the teams that we're playing against except that we are going to blitz like wildfire. personally I like the strategy

It is pre season, but to discount the ineptitude of this team so far is a mistake. They did not game plan to suck. The problem is Saban did not bring anyone in to address the 2 biggest weaknesses on this team last year, the OL and QB. Because of this oversight, or mistake, or whatever, we will not be that good.

How long will it take for the first "Fire Saban! :fire: " thread to pop up? Any guesses?

I don't think it was an oversight at all. I believe he needs to evaluate what talent is there now and make changes accordingly next season. You can't rebuild a whole team in one draft, Saban is thinking long term with this squad.
