In situations where Wake, JT, and JP are all going after the QB at the same time how would or could an opposing team block them? I'm assuming in those situations Wake is going to line up at DE like he did for quite a few snaps vs Buffalo and with how ridiculously quick Wake is that's a problem all in itself to block but then you have either Porter or Taylor coming off the edge on the same side and it gets nearly impossible not to mention you've got another sack machine on the other side. Then if ANYONE can get any type of push whatsoever up the middle then forget about it the only thing I can see an offense being able to do about it is get rid of the ball very very quickly which I'm sure will be the plan. I just hope our DB's and LB's can hold coverage for more than a second or two.

i'm not going to get overly excited, because i have seen both Porter and Taylor get blocked ... as for the trio, Wake did an admiral job against SD, but seemed a step too late, but was able to apply pressure... in the game against Buffalo, what can i say he was all over the QB... if he can take his man 1 on 1 like he did against Buffalo, it should make things easier for both Taylor and Porter ... that was the theme all through pre-season, Wake was getting pressure just not sacking the QB, but his Pressure opened up lanes for others to get to the QB ... if this works against the Jets, it's going to be a long day for Sanchez!!!

You don't have to block them you hit the hot route for 5 yards or more. The same can be said about the Jets blitz.

blocking those guys is hard, but very doable with 6 blockers...

the thing that will be hard to adjust to for sanchez and that offensive line, is identifying AND blocking any supplemental blitzer while keeping in mind that you've already got those 3 quality pass rushers coming at you ... if we start blitzing a nickel or a safety every now and then, it could get very interesting....

i'm really anxious to see what pasqualoni will throw at sanchez monday ...

Rumors coming out of NY say that Sanchez is considering faking an injury this week because he is so scared of this big bad Dolphins D.

You don't. You do the same thing Peyton Manning did against us.

Audible to quick screen...missed tackles...touchdown.

It is called screens and draws. When a defense becomes overly aggressive, there is nothing better than to run an inside draw or especially screen and watch it go for big chunks of yardage. You can also put the qb in the shotgun with a rb in the backfield.

In their primes I do not think you really could. JT and Porter can still bring it just not as consistently as back then and while Wake played great it is a little to early to annoit him as unstoppable. Let wait another 4-5 weeks before crowning him.

How funny is it that you have that ad and then a pic of Jason taylor right below it:lol: The only way it would have been funnier was if the Taylor pic was from dancing with the stars:lol2:

Hey...it goes the same way for the Jets.....Their pass rush this year is fierce, their LBs are stout, and CBs formidable....
Fasano, our RBs, Bess over the middle, and Polite, will be the key for our offense this game...
