According to the PBP reports, Henne has stunk it up this week in every practice- lots of reps but tons of incompletions, picks, checkdowns, goobers and snot!

What gives? I hear this guy is supposed to be the steal of the draft.

dude, calm down. remember he's a rookie not a 10 year veteran. he's gonna struggle alot.

Chad is a rookie. He will have his good days, and he'll have his bad days. It's the growing pains of the NFL. Look, I know where you're trying to go with this thread. Honestly, I would rather not hear another word about "you know who", until he's either still a part of the team, traded, or released. I've had just about enough when it comes to hearing his name.

its his 3rd week of camp. Let's trash him!!!!!

Because Beck is the only wipping boy around here. It's funny, he is the middle child literally, and figureitively. Henne is the youngest, who can't do wrong. I hope he gets his act together. A lot of people have confidence in him, and I trust Parcells, but there is absolutely nothing in his College career that stands out. He is a Phin, I am pulling for him, but I am also realistic unlike some people on here who think he walks on water.

Get away with what? Making rookie mistakes, learning the playbook. He is right on schedule if you ask me.

Thank you for making my point!

Last I checked BECK is still part of the team. If you don't like hearing about him, well all I can say is get over it, this is a "discussion" forum. LOL @ you

Get away with looking worse than Beck
HEHE, I gave up on this one man. There are about 10 people on here that even if something is really obvious, they will spit out some non sense. One day, it's he is out playing Beck, then when Henne has a bad day(like every one) the same jokers are saying it's because he is a rookie.

Get away with looking worse than Beck
He can get away with it because #1 he is a rookie, and #2 this is the QB that Ireland and Parcells drafted. Beck was not. I don't understand the obsession that everybody on here has with Beck. It seems like that's all everybody talks about on here. The love or hate towards John Beck.

The 3rd string QB is always the most popular guy on the team... especially when he's new. Plus Henne has a strong arm.
****
Some people see the zip on the ball... and it looks superior to the other guys... and that's all that they see.

You can't exactly use that same criteria with Pennington, though, who has the weakest arm on the team... but great career statistics.

Sparano would be a fool to have Henne come in if Pennington got hurt. At least McCowen and Beck have some NFL experience. All Henne seen is Vanilla defenses...

a lot of us have been debating this particular issue of "you know who" since the final whistle of the Cinncinati game. Every possible arguement, debate, and angle has been thrown out there on these discussion boards. How much longer can you debate an issue that's pretty much been beaten to death at this point. To me, it just seems counterproductive.

Yeah the "you know who" obsession is ridiculous. There are 53 players on this team (even more than that during preseason) and some people just wanting to keep beating a dead horse. There are dozens of other things to discuss.
