I know you cap mavens know!
According to a source, Carey will be on the books for $5.25 million this season. That means the Dolphins have roughly $19 million to work with in free agency to possibly re-sign guys like Yeremiah Bell, Andre' Goodman, and lure others this weekend.
last i heard it was about 39.5 mil i think. plenty of money
When was the last time Omar Kelly was a reliable source?
I don't trust the guy in things that aren't proven... for the most part.
Remember though, we need to still be able to sign our draft picks.$19 million should still be enough for Jason Brown, Leigh Bodden, and a few other FA players for depth plus our rookies. It is so nice NOT to have a top 10 pick and to have to pay those outlandish contract numbers.
Plus, Omar Kelly is pretty cool for a media guy, IMHO.
ok, so really nobody knows, got it!
I guess no one decided to read the top post in this forum before posting random numbers in this thread.
I'll give you guys a link (its the thread right under this one, shhhh!)

Omar's number of 19 million is pretty close to my number of 23 million. Depending on what he estimated the cap to be and depending on if he estimated any cap credits or debits from LTBE or NLTBE incentives from last year, we might have the same exact numbers.
What Cap?
