How good is this team with Carson Palmer?

Can't see how you say Palmer is better then Orton when Orton had more yards, better td-int ratio and qb rating past 2 years with 3 less games and a similar level of talent around him. Palmer is more name then substance. Other then his 2nd year, he's never really lived up to the hype or #1 draft position.

I really don't want to throw in too much on this topic b/c I've already made known who my QB selection was I wanted the Dolphins to go after tooth and nail way before consideration should of been given to Orton but that being said...Of course Orton is going to have a better TD - INT ratio and a higher QB rating it's like compairing Apples to Prunes. Orton is your typical 20 or under dump off passer whereas Palmer will take more chances and let her fly more often than not, so the chances of being picked increase and it will keep your number of completions down too thus translating to a lower QB rating. The yardage is a bit of a mystery but I'd assume that Orton has more because he would have more completed short yardage passes. It would seem to be an easier job to amass more yardage if your consistantly hitting those 8 yard passes with the receptor running for additional yards but that would be just my guess. In my opinion though Carson is leaps and bounds better of a fit for our team and a better QB than Orton by quite a bit.
