With Ricky sitting for the first four games snd Ronnie being a Rook, isn't Gordon needed? He is an experienced back. Let's not let Phillie snafu us again. He will make the final roster and probably start if Ronnie isn't ready. Sammie is not a good HB as he doesn't have the outside speed. Our price should be high on Gordon.

hes not needed much when we have minor and morris backing up ronnie for the firts 4 games

he would be needed, but we also have got morris and minor.

I was pleased with what Morris showed towards the end of last season. He had some speed and explotion. I would be pleanty comfortable going int othe season with Morris and Minor coupled with Brown for the first 4 games. Gordon has become a card for us. He has done nothing (that I remember reading about) to distinguish himself in camp or preseason games, so how do you value him higher than the backs that played last year?

I don't think he's horrible, he's just not starter quality. He could be, but we really didn't get to see much of him last year. The O-Line was so horrible I don't know of ANY back, past or present, that would've looked good. Maybe Jim Brown, Earl Campbell or Christian Okoye could do only OK cause they could plow over anything in the way....

As an FSU grad, Minor never has and never will be an asset to the Fins. He should not be on our final roster. Just because Gordon hasn't lit it up in preseason doesn't make his value any less. He is better than Morris-Minor. You don't see anyone asking for either one of themin a trade.

He's just a mediocre back. He cant start, he may be good on some downs when your starter gets tired, maybe on 3rd down even. But he'll never be a true NFL Starter, he's had injury problems, he's got potential but that's about it. I doubt he'll be very much of a use to the Dolphins, i'd trade him for anything i could get at this point.

we also have kay- jay who i believe wasn't 26 he would have been the 5th RB taken in that draft and he will make that roster

Actually, there were rumors that Morris was the first guy Philly asked about. Apparently we shot it down.

atleast minor can play. thats more then i can say for gordon so far.

Morris did good with out O-line so how do we just throw him down the depth charts like that. I say they trade Gordon for one of Philly's 4th round picks because his salary is a little pricy for sitting on the bench plus if we get rid of him and its minor last year so he can be gone after this season so we can have Brown maybe Ricky and morris at runningbacks next season and we can grab any runnigback that would fit our style of play instead of using what we got now.

True I almost forgot about him. 5th Overall is a little high, I would guess Late First - Early second had he been 22-23.

In my opinion, Morris has already earned the backup RB spot while Ricky is gone with his performance last year. Anyone who can average over 4 yards a carry, 6 TDs, 523 yds on 132 carries, and 124 yds recieving behind one of the worst lines in NFL history has earned my respect. People underestimate the value he brings to our team.
