Just how big is Daunte Culpepper to the Dolphins? Well I'm going to show you that it is the best thing that has happend to the Miami Dolphins since Dan Marino. Since the Marino era we have had dog**** for QBs. Now we bring in a guy who has a career passer rating of around 95. We immediatly become playoff contenders with him and if you don't believe it, look at these numbers.

How you read this is it goes playoff team, QB, rating, and where that rateing ranked in the NFL that season. I appreciate those of you who take the time to read it because it took me a lot of time to do it.

AFC
Colts- Manning 104.1 (1)
Broncos- Plummer 90.2 (7)
Bengals- Palmer 101.1 (2)
Patriots- Brady 92.3 (6)
Jaguars- Leftwhich 89.3 (9)
Steelers- Roethlisberger 98.6 (3)

NFC
Seahawks- Hasslebeck 98.2 (4)
Bears- Orton 59.7 (32) really kills my argument
Bucaneers- Simms 81.4 (19)
Giants- Manning 75.9 (23)
Panthers- Delhomme 88.1 (12)
Redskins- Brunell 85.9 (13)
Our 2005 QB- Frerotte 71.9 (28)

2004
AFC
Steelers- Roethlisberger 98.1 (5)
Patriots- Brady 92.6 (9)
Colts- Manning 121.1 (1)
Chargers- Brees 104.8 (3)
Broncos- Plummer 84.5 (15)
Jets- Pennington 91.0 (11)

NFC
Eagles- McNabb 104.7 (4)
Falcons- Vick 78.1 (21)
Packers- Favre 92.4 (10)
Seahawks- Hasslebeck 83.1 (17)
Rams- Bulger 93.7 (8)
Vikings- Culpepper 110.9 (2) Our new QB guys!
Our 2004 QB Feely 61.7 (32)

2003
AFC
Patriots- Brady 85.9 (10)
Cheifs- Green 92.6 (4)
Colts- Manning 99.0 (2)
Ravens- Boller 62.4 (31) Ruining my argument
Titans- McNair 100.4 (1)
Broncos- 91.2 (5)

NFC
Eagles- McNabb 79.6 (16)
Rams- Bulger 81.4 (13)
Panthers- Delhomme 80.6 (14)
Packers- Favre 90.4 (6)
Seahawks- Hasslebeck 88.8 (7)
Cowboys- Carter 71.4 (24)
OUR QB- Fiedler 72.4 (23)

Look at the numbers. The way you read this is in 2005 7/12 of the playoff teams had QBs in the top 10 and 8/12 playoff teams had QBs in the top half of the league.
2005 top 10: 7/12
top half: 8/12
2004 top 10: 7/12
top half: 9/12
2003 top 10: 7/12
top half: 10/12
Our average rank over those 3 years: (27th)with an average in the high 60s

So how important is a QB? It is extremly important if you look at the numbers. The only time teams had terrible QBs and made the playoffs, was when they had on eof the top 10 Ds of all time. We would have had to had a Chicago type defense over those years to have a shot at the playoffs. Again I thank you for your time and I appreciate you reading this because it took me a long time to do.

Good post my man...I definitely agree that the signing of Pep was the best thing that has happened to the Phins since one Daniel Constantine Marino.

Good Post and good work! We're definitely a playoff team!!
