Ronnie Brown is coming off a pretty serious knee injury that most players/trainers/doctors will tell you it typically takes about 18 months to recover back to 100%. I know he'll be back at some point this season, but does anyone have any updates on how his rehab is coming along? I haven't heard anything and I'm interested - as I'm sure everyone else is too - about his progress. Anyone have info?

I just hope people don't get ants in their pants watching him struggle this season. He may struggle coming off this injury and probably won't be "back" until '09.

He is a top back. All the Ronnie bashers wanting to bring in a new back RB just need to be patient.

i dont know why some people expect Ronnie to be good this season,or expect him to start or anything of that nature.Whether his ACL was a full tear or partial, that is still and injury you dont want to rush a player back from, especially a Running Back.Trust me,I want to see Ronnie back a.s.a.p just like you guys, but I also want Ronnie to play here in Miami for a long time.So if that means him missing a majority of the season, than Im perfectly okay with it

Everything I've heard about him has said that he is right on pace with his rehab, and should be ready for the start of the season. Whether he is effective out of the gate is a whole different story. I'm expecting Ricky to get the bulk of the carries for the first part of the season.

My point wasnt to say I want him back ASAP, I just wanted an update on his current progress/rehab situation. If it measn sitting out the whole season so he healthy for us for the long haul, im all for him riding the pine this year.

Ronnie Brown is my favorite Dolphin player. Watching him tear things up last year was the biggest thrill I have had in watching a dolphin in some time. I just hope he comes back healthy and comes back to last years form. It was so cool speaking so highly about his success until his injury. Finally the shadows of Ricky Williams curse were leaving due to Ronnies success. I just hope he comes back big this year because if not, I dont know how much longer he will be a fin.

oh no i wasnt directing it at you,i was speakin in general....(i said "some people" in my post,no you)

it would be nice if parmele and williams could carry the load for as long as they can so ronnie can be given longer to recover from the ACL

Ronnie is Done...lol..Im playing around.I just hope to GOD Ronnie ready Week 1..

Ronnie will be fine. Mark my words he rushes for 100+ yards against the Jets week 1.

It does give Ricky a chance to do some damage in a year he's wanting a new contract (next).

I don't know how Ronnie Brown is doing physically but he was at Saturday's rookies mini camp.
Tailback Ronnie Brown addressed the rookies and free agents before Saturday's practice.

"He gave us some pretty good advice. ... He was telling us not to spend money like Jake Long," Lex Hilliard said with a laugh. "It'll run out quick."

I expect Williams to have a good year and I hope that Parmele can come out of the gate be effective as well. Ronnie will not be back to his dominating ways of last year until 09.

He will be able to play this year but he will not be back to his old self until 09 IMO.

BP and co. don't hold alot of value to the HB position. Ricky is only signed for this year and Ronnie is paid as a franchise back. I love Ronnie on the feild but if he can't impresss THIS YEAR I won't be surprised if he is involved in trade talks next year. Unless we still have alot of cap room. Remember we drafted 2 HB's this year.

they really need to ease Ronnie back . . . we have RB depth . . . we can afford to patient with him . . . even if it means he sits out the entire year . . . which I KNOW nobody wants . . . but we can't rush him.
