With the glut of RB's we have (especially once Ronnie signs) it's no secret one of our RB's will not make the team. Whoever doesn't make it out of Minor, Harris, and to a much lesser extent Gordon, will most likely latch on with another team (possibly Buffalo  ). With all of this talk about Gordon's running style being too upright, do you think there's a chance we showcase in PS and then trade him to say Jacksonville or another team for a draft pick while keeping Minor? Even if we only get a 5th out of him, it's better than nothing. I'd rather keep Minor as he's a different kind of back and adds versatility to our team. I'm not saying he's going to be getting 10 carries a game but he could do some things on ST and he could be a scat back. With Ricky, Ronnie, Gordon, we pretty much have the same style RB in all three (with obviously different levels of talent). I believe we have a better chance of getting a draft pick for Gordon than we do trading Minor.

I didn't even think about us scamming a backup RB off you guys, thats a great idea.

In fact, I'd give you a 6 for Gordon right now...hell, I'm feeling generous, 5th conditional sixth if he gets 500yds and 3 TD.

Saban always seems to be 3 steps ahead of everyone. We finally are in good shape at many positions and for a change at RB. Brown and Ricky should stay (and I personally hope Ricky stays longer than one year). Sammy Morris will probably stay and that leaves Evans, Gordon, Minor and Harris. I believe at least one of these will be trade bait and showcased in the preseason.

Only time will tell.

you didnt even mention morris, but that doesnt mater because he will probably be switched to FB and if not Kay-Jay will be on PS, and yeah i said it yesterday, we are going to showcase gordon in the pre-season i believe so dont be surprised when you see him starting and seeing a bunch of carries

I didn't mention him because he's a lock to make the roster IMO. He is versatile in our offense and I think he's quite good. In fact, I wouldn't mind him as the 3rd string RB and the 2nd string FB.

I see Morris as the "change of pace" back like M. Moore was for Linehan in Minny...

But he can play the H-back if needed, just not as good a blocker as Evans is...

Deal. *Gets on the phone with Jeff Gordon*

What does that mean? Everyone meaning the fans, or everyone else in the league?

This isn't a diss, i'm just curious what he's done so far that has been so cutting edge and has taken everyone by surprise?
