How long after 12:01am do we hear"what are we waiting for?!?

Every year we get the same refrain from so many. If we do not sign Faneca,Samuel,Pace,Wilson and Moss in the first few minutes of Free Agency..people will be calling for Parcells and Irelands head.
Lets try and be patient..I want to be as excited as the next guy...but this is going to be a careful process with us. Lets try and get the right players for this team amd build a good foundation that with the draft will make this team better for the longhaul.

Faneca, Samuel, Pace, Wilson, AND Moss??

Think it through. We have our whole lives ahead of us. There is so much we have yet to have done in our lives. No need to end it so early. Your friends are here for you

Title is a bit misleading but I totally agree with you post. We have to be patient. Paying for over priced aging free agents is not the smartest thing to do when you are rebuilding. Do it through the draft and sign a few young free agents.
 
what do you mean after midnight people freak out? People are already freaking out.
 
Well several player already have new contracts and team this year have done a real good job of signing their own players. Flozell is of the Market, Soapoga is off, Corey Willimas is a Brown,The Raiders are working hard to sign Wilson, Rumors are we have signed Wilford etcc.....
 
Sorry if the title is misleading. I just meant that people will freak if we do not sign some big names right out of the box. Of course I was being facetious about those names signing with us..was just trying to make a point. I do have faith in whatever plan Ireland,Parcells and Sparano have for us. Lets just try and be patient.
 
Jonathan Vilma is "very very close" to becoming a New Orleans Saint, according to the Washington Post.

The Redskins reportedly "nosed around" Vilma, but never showed serious interest. The Lions were also hot after Vilma, but have less incentive to offer draft picks, assuming that's what the Jets were looking for.

Scout.com's Adam Caplan reports there will likely be a "bidding war" between the Vikings and Titans for Bernard Berrian when free agency begins.

Caplan calls the 49ers the "wild card" in all this. If Berrian wants to put up the best numbers he can, San Francisco is his best bet. However, agent Drew Rosenhaus is probably telling him to go for the most money. If the Vikings lose out, Jerry Porter is expected to be their secondary target.

I admit I'm a little annoyed at the moment.

There's news of swinging deals for Jonathan Vilma and Shaun Rogers, etc...

...and we signed David Kircus. Yawn. I want at least one signing first day.
 
if we don't sign someone by 12:15, the board will crash.

I remember how pumped so many people were a couple years ago when we signed Traveras Tillman.
 
Parcels knows what he's doing, he's got as proven a track record as one can for what he does. He's the best in the business at turning franchises around. Anyone who would call for his head during the first few days of free agency would have to be a complete fool.

Also consider that coming off a 1-15 year, even the most minimal of moves can get your team moving in the right direction. The Dolphins are not a couple players away right now. I'm expecting Parcels to move on the tier 2 guys, try to acquire more draft picks, and to wait to become a player in FA until next offseason. Who knows though, the Phins, like the Jets, have been mentioned to be in the running for some of the top tier guys. Time will tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Phins chatter is nothing more then posturing to bleed every last penny they can out of there division rivals during there potential offseason spending spree's.
