How long do you think will Miami will continue to suck?

I know people like to rag on Steve Ross, but he's a pretty no nonsense guy. He's the guy who didn't wait for Sparano's body to be cold before he got on a plane to talk to Harbaugh. He spent a great deal of time and effort interviewing a second choice. He was very impressed with Philbin (who wouldn't be, he interviews well, and comes from a good organization), so he hired him. Philbin then hired his assistant coaches, and picked a QB. Ross didn't have anything to do with Sherman or Tannehill, he trusted the people he placed in charge. If there are no results, then he goes back to that person and puts his feet to the fire. I don't think things are very comfortable for Philbin at all right now. So, no, I don't expect there to be no changes for another 10 years.

completely agree with wv, until we get a legit, CONSISTENT nfl qb this team will continue to be sh*t. its never gonna change. tannehill was mediocre in college and is 15-17 in 2 years....if that is not mediocre i dont know what is. just think, as bad as ireland and the coaching and the oline has been, if tannehill hits wallace on that throw in the 2nd quarter we're up 14-0 and a playoff team. it all starts with the qb and we have an average one!!!

If we make wholesale changes tomorrow......it will be at least 3 to 4 years till you can reasonably expect success. There needs to be some continuity of system and I think I would leave Philbin in place to preserve that. I think it is reasonable to expect a new OC. I don't think we need to change the defensive coordinator....just improve some of the players. The defense has its flaws, but with some tweaks should be much better.

I look at the Carolina Panthers team, and see their coach who has been on the hot seat the last two years....but they gave him the time to build that team and it has paid off. We have been on the coaching carousal before...and it doesn't work.

I remember when I got pissed off about these kind of losses. Now I have a hard time giving a ****. I assume that is what the Miami Dolphins marketing team is aiming for.

weird thing.. you just never hear Riverboat Ron congratulating opposing coaches for kickin his team's ass on Sundays. wonder why? could it be, he has the fire of a linebacker turned coach, who played for TE turned coach with fire, and hates like hell to lose!!!!

I don't have confidence in any major decision until we are out of this stadium.

The fact that we play in this stadium screams that we don't know what we are doing. Same with the Canes.

At least I gave the -3 on Louisville.
