Based on what I've seen on this forum, I'm sure the posts will outlast any coach or player.

Best shot would be to have a view or somewhat legitimate opinion of the direction and level of getting better in each additional year. Question will be does the team show enough progression to keep the current architects in office.
First actual full blown Rebuild since the 66 season. Something very few to none of us has real understanding of how to go about such a huge overhaul...

Personally think that we have no clue as to their upcoming actions being right or not. FA approach of doing little or doing significant all each has its own value depending on the plan they are shooting for. Draft and building ? or giving up draft for that QB ? all options which make pretty much impossible to judge present moves when we truthfully have no factual clue as to their plans.

FA may show a sliver but first significant fact we will see will be how they handle this up coming Draft. traditionally and building DL, OL LBr, or they have a completely different idea and surprise the hell out of all of us, one way or the other.

Silly to try figuring it out at this stage, just to soon and not enough happening besides the New Staff whos success is so tied into these move not made yet but soon to come.... It's not like the last 2 decades.....

Flores, another first year HC, hired his buddy linebacker coach to be the DC. Who here is responsible for the defense? Neither of them is good enough! Neither of them has any meaningful track record of success.

It's a mess. Who do they fire if the defense is 31st in the league?
Will Flores fire his buddy Graham? Hell no! Is he responsible for the defense? Maybe yes maybe no. It's a fkn mess again. Training wheels garbage.

And the main facilitator of this garbage is of course Chris Grier. Instead of hiring the best head coach, someone with track record and experience, he hired a first time head coach. And then, to make matters worse, he let him do whatever he wants. Flores is not Bill Belichick. He is not a guy with track record and experience. That meanss he needs to hire coaches with track record and experience! Not other first year projects, who are his buddies in foolishness.

That's where the GM's job is important, to say No! You cannot do that. We will hire the best DC instead of your buddy, because you Flores ain't sht, you are lucky to get this opportunity, and your buddy ain't sht too. You are not going to fk it up and fk around just because we were kind enough to give you the HC job!

If this dude Flores had wits about him he'd hire the best DC, like Jack Del Rio, and let him coach the defense, have a level of comfort on that side of the ball, that things will get done right, and he would focus on his job, which is being the head coach!

And same goes for Grier, he needs to get the QB and get the DC, so that he can focus on things he can get done, which is improving the roster. Instead of fkn around and demolishing the roster like he's been doing.
What this guy Grier has done so far is not a Rebuild. That's just stupidity, just fkn around. It's a mess again, just like with Coyle, just like with fkn Burke. Only now it's a fkn disaster.

Does this mean you want Gase and his staff back?
 
IMO they'll get at least 3 seasons. But the wild card here is Jim Harbaugh. If he suddenly decides he wants to go back to coaching in the NFL, you can bet Ross will be tempted at least. Especially if this new regime doesn't show him something.
 
I am going with the 3 seasons cause that's been the pattern for the past 30 years here.
 
It really depends on the QB they hitch their wagon to. Seems there doing good work now but if they pick the wrong QB they’ll be just like the guys before them. One thing is for certain I’m sure there are posters who already KNOW they are going to fail and CANT WAIT to tell us they told us so.
 
Hopefully, a long damn time.

All of this turnover doesn’t give us a chance. Let’s just hope we got it right this time.

Yup that's right we haven't had a coach last more than 4 seasons since The Don retired. That my Fin-fans is depressing.
