D.Barnes blew up a buc tonight. I thought it was a guard pulling at first. I know Beasley is supposed to be great, but Barnes doesn't want to give up the job. I think Saban keeps both.

I thought Barnes did a nice job last year and he is young. I think if he is let go someone will snatch him up.

Yea I think u definetly gotta keep Barnes man, he looks to be a tremendous player. I say u keep both, which will mean no 4th string RB, so either Harris or Minor (IMO Harris) will be gone or back to the PS if he is eligible.

I to believe Barnes is having one heck of a preseason. He has been blowing people up in the last two game's.I cannot remember any pass's thrown his way yet.Impressive blocker though.Going to be some tuff decision's come cut down day.

Thats why I luv preseason man, we definitely gotta see a pass or 2 thrown his way the next 2 games, to see what he can do there, but no question he will be a load to bring down in front of Ronnie . . personally I rather have a monster blocker at FB than a receiving capable FB.

you keep both. Last year we were going to keep Barnes and Evans, but Evans couldn't block,or catch(Though we did learn in the Pats game he could run).

just keep both and cut a running back

Yep, KJ is the odd man out . . not that he has played bad, but why on earth would we have 5 230+ lb RB's on the team, Minor is the change of pace type of back we need to go along with the 4 big boys in Brown, Morris, BEasley and Barnes.

yes exactly what i was thinking we dont need all these heavey backs without atleast one zippy guy in minor to bring in the change of pace

I say we keep both Beasley and Barnes and we can run the Wishbone formation. (is that what it's called) Somewhat like Dallas uses in certain situations.

I'm surprised that everyone here is all of a sudden saying they want Minor to stay and KJ to be gone. KJ has done well at moments, and Darian has done well at times too. I thought Darian was great last year, and I was very shocked to see Beasley brought in during the off season.

But in my opinion we should keep both FBs and three running backs. Either Minor or Harris is going to get cut, and dont be too surprised if Minor is the odd man out. Saban likes KJ, and it becomes increasingly obvious that he has a thing for big backs with power running styles.

At this point I would say both Barnes and Beasley will be kept with Brown, Morris, and Minor.

That would then mean 6 WRs and probablly 3 tight ends.

i dont know what u all see in Travis Minor, but i prefer KayJay Harris. I prefer keeping the young guy, hes a big guy who CAN run. travis minor is just a special teams guy IMO.
