With the fins doing better than expected, and a bright future ahead next year, how many nationally televised games do you think we will get next year? (Keep in mind that MNF is on ESPN next year.)

I think we will finish 8 - 8 this year. (Keeping Saban's streak of never having a losing season as a head coach, btw!)

I think the Dolphins will get 3 national games. (1 MNF, 2 SNF)

Opinions?

Also, since Sunday Night Football will now be on NBC, will that game be bigger than Monday Night Football on ESPN?

I forgot about Turkey Day! That would be cool. Maybe we can break out the orange jerseys.

Yes Yes and Yes

The Sunday night package allows NBC to do a highlight show (like ESPN does now) and it gives them the option to change some late season games around. This will allow them to put a game like Indy at Seattle on primetime

I think we get 4 national games

1 Turkey day
1 Sunday
1 Monday
1 Saturday afternoon

If we are good then we might get 1 more Sunday game added late in the season

Speaking as a season ticket holder, I don't like the night games.

I agreed with Jimmy - let's play every game on Sunday at 1PM.

After a MNF game I don't get home until sometimes 2 AM.

I think 2.. Turkey Day and a Sunday Night.

i say 3 national televised games...i would really like to play a game at night in buffalo that would be awesome...

I think that they are working on an agreement where NBC can choose the Sunday Night game that week so they can pick the competitive games. So, say for example if the Jan 1 New England/Miami game was for the Division NBC could choose that game.

Buffalo doesn't really like to have night games, and if it is it would have to be on a saturday. They get too many fans coming from Toronto and Rochester that they basically never have night games in Buffalo on a Sunday or Monday.

They already have that agreement.

Not 100% sure but it is something like this

The last 7 weeks of the season NBC can change 2(it might be 4) games

The can take 1 from FOX and CBS (again it might be 2 each)

When NBC asks for a game FOX or CBS can say no once but the next game NBC asks for they get

What I don't know is what happens to the original Sunday night game??
Does it go to FOX or CBS since NBC took one of their games??

Between 2-4.

Especially if we win out, or win two out of three. The media will be jumping on our '06 bandwagon hard in the offseason. That's the way the media is - and the networks will be following their lead.

how many...

... if we do end up beating the Patsy's I think you'll see us playing them on a SNF or MNF game in Miami. Miami / Detroit's could be a good draw too.

Having a Monday nite game doies not mean it has to be a home game. I'll take one on the road!
