How many of these teams now wish they had drafted Tannehill?

I think perception is headed that way.... The dialog will begin soon. Don't worry... we're in good shape.

If the point of his article was 'living up to expectation' sure seems like a glaring omission.

Look at it this way. Tannehill is playing well enough now that the writer doesn't include him as part of the failure group. A year ago maybe he could have but in Lzzor's quick passing system he is having enough success lately that even if he cannot commit to saying he is on par with Luck, he can't say he's bad either. Give it another year.

Hoops' prediction that when the smoke clears the Luck - Tannehill comparisons as most elite QB of that class is looking more and more prophetic. Obviously RT is not there yet but the arrow is certainly trending up - and who'd a thunk that it might even be a remote possibility this time last season? We must retain Lazor at all cost!

I look forward to Luck-Tannehill showdowns for the next 10 years.

1 to 1 so far.

Interesting article (except that Tannehill was left off of the list). Of the top 7 picks, only Luck has been successful.

Author is a complete clown for leaving Tannehill out. He was the second best pick of the first round.

I'd say 2nd best qb pick that round. Keuchley(spelled right?) is a monster and will be for a long time. Like hoops I thought Luck/Tannehill would turn into a Marino/Kelley type thing years from now. None of my buddies here in NC believed me, but they are starting to wise up.

Can't argue with Wilson's success, but I think I would rather have RT right now. In a 2012 redraft, who do you take 2nd overall? I take Tannehill.

No doubt he is a great player but given the importance of the QB position, IMO, Tannehill is the better pick.

Ryan (now) is the 3rd best QB from that draft class. Only, Russell & Andrew being better.

NOWAY, Would I Trade Tannehill for Wilson , Tannehill is a bigger ,taller QB , has as much athletic ability as Wilson , and Tannehill has a stronger arm than Wilson , it might have taken Tannehill a little more time , ONLY BECAUSE , he played 1 year at QB in college , while Wilson had all 4 years , Wilson had more experience ,and more playing time than Tannehill but Tannehill IS coming along just fine , and hasn't even hit his peak where I think Wilson has .

As good as Luck has been he does play in that cream puff division and hasn't been great this year when they venture out and play good teams (see sig).

I think he's even better than Wilson right now. I've been making the argument lately that it will take another year or two for RT to be included in the top 10 at the position even though he's on the edge right now because of first impressions. I'm sure the casual fan still thinks RG3, Kaepernick, and Wilson, etc. are better qbs because they were pretty good right away. Now, they're regressing or plateauing, while RT continues to steadily improve

All of them! It was a blessing in disguise that we didn't get peyton and drafted him! I'm feeling good about our qb situation for the first time since marino! It definately is a relief after 15 years. And to think, all those so called professional analysts on on TV said he was a reach!
