Should have drafted Aaron Rodgers.. so far Long and Ryan have won the same number of POs. Oh and if you didn't realize that Jake is injured but being a trooper (or Sparano making him one) then you're missing something critical in your analysis.

Miami has missed the boat on more than one franchise qb, on some even more than once..

My biggest fault with Saban is not that he passed on Drew and Aaron but that he gave up a 2nd rounder for Dante..

Jake Long is our best player period...I dont want M. Ryan is just a decent QB but will never take the Falcons to the superbowl. We need Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Bress type QBs...Im glad we didnt take Ryan

if you finish the oline, get a legit, every down runningback, someone who can run between the tackles, outsides, has power AND speed, can catch, and pass protect, if you get some legit speed threats at WR, if you stop drafting SLOW d-linemen, and get a few legit passrushers who aren't almost 30, if you get a complete new secondary outside of vontae, if you get 2-4 new young linebackers.... THEn i think henne is serviceable =P

According to PFF, Long has allowed four sacks. He yielded two his first season, four his second and six his third. He didn’t play in preseason but doesn’t use that as an excuse

Guards Incognito and Carey have allowed two sacks each, and PFF ranks Incognito 59th and Carey 66th among 69 guards in pass protection. Conversely, Carey is ninth in run blocking and Incognito 34th.

My biggest gripe w/ Long is we cannot get 1/2 yard when we need it behind him...For what the Fins have invested in him 1/2 yard should be there every down no matter who is carrying the ball.

We obviously have some SERIOUS problems up the middle.

I know many on here really like this kid Pouncey, and he looks like he could be pretty good, but I watched closely the kid I wish we had selected play with Oakland yesterday. That kid (Wheezer) made Sam Satale look like a pretty good center, and that was going against a good defense the Texans have.
I really wish we had been able to get both Pouncey AND Wheezer.

Yea...You got it. For what we are paying Long...We should not need a middle to get 1/2 yd , The giant should be able to take care of that alone dont you think? But we have to resort to throwing fades to Hartline... why is that?
