I keep seeing that a QB is going to be drafted #1 next year, so if we don't finish dead last we couldn't draft the first one, but how many teams "need" a QB at this point. I went through each team and listed their starting QB.

Buffalo JP Losman
Miami AJ Feeley
New England Tom Brady
New York (J) Chad Pennington
Baltimore Kyle Boller*
Cincinatti Carson Palmer
Cleveland Trent Dilfer*
Pittsburg Ben Roetlisburger
Houston David Carr
Indianapolis Peyton Manning
Jacksonville Byron Leftwich
Tennesee Steve McNair*
Denver Jake Plummer
Kansas City Trent Green*
Oakland Kerry Collins
San Diego Drew Breese
Dallas Drew Bledsoe
New York (G) Eli Manning
Philidelphia Donovan McNabb
Washington Patrick Ramsey*
Chicago Rex Grossman*
Detroit Joey Harrington
Green Bay Brett Favre
Minnesota Daunte Culpepper
Atlanta Michael Vick
Carolina Jake Delhomme
New Orleans Aaron Brooks
Tampa Bay Brian Griese*
Arizona Kurt Warner
St. Louis Marc Bulger
San Fransico Alex Smith
Seatle Matt Hasslebeck

The ones with stars denote teams that may be looking for a QB in the draft, but if their starter does well and shows hope they possibly won't. This is, Baltimore, Cleveland, Tennesee, Kansas City, Washington, Chicago, and Tampa Bay. What do yall think are the chances these teams finish below us and want a QB? I'm not selling out on our current situation, but if the situation does arise that we look for a replacement in the draft what is odds that we can have free pick of who we want.

I think Baltimore, Cleveland, Chicago and KC will probably finish with a better record than us. Tennesee will probably finish last in the NFL, but they might decide to hand the reins over to Voltair. Washington is too up and down for me to predict. They could do as well as 8-8 being that the eagles seem to be stumbling and they play them twice. What do yall think?

Washington has Campbell
Chicago has Orton
Clevland has Frye (i think)
Tampa has Sims

miami
cardinals
browns
ravens
tennessee (and i think they will have the #1 pick)
dallas could use one since none of the guys behind bledsoe are any good.

not many teems NEED a QB, but they sure could use one cus there starter will be out of the NFL in 2 years, nad have no backup with any potential.

not many do and o yeah, feely isnt the starter yet, gus could very well win it and if he performes the way he did tommorow like he did on monday he will deff be in the lead for the startign spot

Miami
Detroit
Green Bay
Cleveland
Tennesee
Tampa Bay
They will all need QB's by next season IMO. With us at the top of the list!!!!

detroit took harrington 3rd overall a few years ago, i dout they want to take another QB so soon. besides i think they will start the backup next season.

greenbay drafted a QB this year (rodgers).

TB's QB played well last season. (i cant spell his name, but you know who he is).

I think that Tennessee will have the number 1 pick next year, and they will definitely take Leinart. Norm Chow, Leinarts old OC, is now Tennessee's OC.

We might get the next best QB or a CB.

I can see as many as 8 possible teams (besides us) needing or wanting a Qb by the next draft. Some of those have Qbs that are getting some years on them, and they don't have a sucessor...

Cleveland Trent Dilfer*
Tennesee Steve McNair*
Arizona Kurt Warner
Dallas Drew Bledsoe

And other teams have a QB who has shown flashes, but for whatever reason doesn't show up every sunday or is always an injury question.

New York (J) Chad Pennington
Detroit Joey Harrington
New Orleans Aaron Brooks
Tampa Bay Brian Griese*

Harringtons position as starter for the Lions was questioned last season.
Green Bay's new QB is unproven at this juncture so thats not a gimme and Tampa Bay will deffo need a QB is Mr ex Dolphin(cant remember his name) ;) may have been a one hit wonder.
If we are going to get a decent QB by draft it may mean us ghaving another poor season which i certainly dont want or we trade up which i can see if there are any decent QB's on the board. Just my opinion you understand.

i think if given the opportunity the following teams would take a high prospect QB if they had a high pick... baltimore, cleveland, miami, tennessee, denver, kansas city, oakland, dallas, arizona... and theres a few good QB prospects coming out next year that i think if our QB situation isn't settled after this year (aka feeleys done) we'd have a good chance at getting one of them...

I think TB will pick QB before us.

Harrington is on the bubble, this is his make or break year. Same with David Carr.

WTH? Cardinals, will, but they wont pick one in the first round. Browns got Frye and Harris. Ravens, Boller has gotten set-up with Fassel and Nueheisel, so if he dont perfrom, they will definetly get one. But, they will be picking in the 20's, more then likely 26-28th. So, they are out. Tennesee, big time. They finish dead last. They will have 1st choice. Dallas? They got Drew Henson. If they dont use Drew, that is just another "proof" Parcells prime has past him in the NFL.
