He may be a great athlete, but he was always a marginal quarterback at best. Even if he was a great quarterback in the past, I would not root for him to do well because he is a sick sadist.

Basically I don't think I could agree more. Great athlete, below average QB, and a sick SOB.

I agree I was never impressed with him as a QB. I think he should be let back in the NFL if someone wants him. (NOT US) He has served his time and as long as he keeps his nose clean I'm not gonna hate on someone trying to make a living. (BUT NOT WITH US)

No, I don't want too see Michael Vick in the NFL. Playing the NFL is a privelage, not a right. Now that this sick POS has done is time (it wasn't enough in my book), it's now time he has to actually make a living like the rest of us do. Have a normal job, make a normal salary, and be a productive member of society. Besides, I can't even imagine a team wanting all the crazy drama around them that the dog murderer would bring.

Someone will definetly take a chance on him and Vick has every right to take the job if he does get offered one.

If someone takes a chance on him they better have some amazying PR people. I forgot who said it but he needs to go on Oprah's couch and cry. Admit his mistakes. He can play I just don't know if he's worth the risk of alienating a fanbase.

he would look good running the wild cat from time to time. Still would be one of the fastest in the nfl and he can bomb the deep one.

What he did was totally unforgivable. It's something he did repeatedly, organised his participation in and committed over a period of time. Those aren't the actions of a well adjusted and good person. He's an absolute scumbag and I hope never to see him play football again.

sure. yes, he's a sociopath. but so what. professional athletes do insane **** all the time. ray lewis killed somebody. najeh davenport broke into a girl's room and took a dump in her laundry basket. matt jones got caught breaking up an ounce of coke in his car (which was extra awesome b/c when the cop came to his window and saw the tony montana-like pile in his lap he still denied it). leonard little killed someone while driving drunk. chris henry was labeled a 'walking crime spree' by a judge. pacman isn't even a real person. and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

i'm not arguing that what he did wasn't awful - but where do you draw the line? most of the time nfl players do horrific things - deny it - and get away with it (from murder to obstruction of justice? seriously?). he got egregiously caught in a despicable act - confessed (not really much wiggle room) - and did his time. the nfl would have to seriously re-evaluate their dealings with 'thug' players if they take a hard line like that against vick.

he's a great athlete. he changed the way teams look at and draft quarterbacks. he was one of the most popular players in the league. and now that he did his time and will be on close surveillance for probably the rest of his life - he has a better chance of being 'rehabilitated' and becoming an actual human being than those guys that get off and continue down the same path.

i don't want him here, but i think he'll get a chance to redeem himself on a team with a desperate qb need.

I'd like to see him locked in a cage full of dogs and ripped apart. Dog killers/torturers are human refuse.

i would too but if you say that about vick and dogs you have to say the same thing about lewis and people.
