How much better are we already?

On the eve of the draft, knowing we picked Jake Long already; how much better do you think we are already. I think we have had solid aqusitions in the off season. We solidified our O-line with Smiley and Long. We got a big receiver with good hands in Wilford, and our special teams should be a lot better. I really like how things have turned out so far, and we still have the draft! I think we have become better and younger, faster than I thought possible. Go Bill!
 
Time will tell. I'll say this. The rebuilding that Cam and Randy quasi-began (I say quasi because it was almost as if they didnt know if they were or were not rebuilding) is WAY farther along.
 
Yeah, I hear ya man. It's like they didn't know what they wanted to do last year....Pretty good draft though.
 
Was it really? Samson is a player, Lorenzo looks to be a valuable piece, but the draft grade will ultimately come down to Teddy and John, both of whom have a lot of 'showing' to do.
 
Realistically speaking...it all depends on team chemistry and how fast our players learn the new playbooks and each other. 40% of this roster has been overhauled.

Actually the keywords are "Bigger and stronger".. Those are the BIG 2 words you missed.

Parcells and Ireland said the goal was to lay down the foundation of SIZE and strength. They thought our team was really weak (and they were right). I like the fact we are much stronger.. Guys like Torbor, Long, Wilford, Starks, Anderson etc are all big and strong.

Look for Size in the draft tomorrow. And look for strong players.. Parcells didn't retool our offseason program geared to deadlifts, heavy lifting and power clean exercises for nothing.
 
I think so. This is speculation, and we have all seen the opinions, but I think Beck and Ginn are going to be a nice tandom for a long time!
 
Were better but it will take alittle time. I hope we can pull off an upset or 2 and it's a reach but .500 maybe with a good draft. June 1st cuts may help us as well.

No question I believe in JB and TG, Im just saying, its tough to assess the last draft. It has potential to be the best one we've had in a while.
 
I think we will play significally better. With all the FA moves we've made we brought in decent depth and two good safety valves for Beck in Wilford and Fasano, we brought in a lot of good character guys, and we also brought 2 nasty olinemen in Jake and Justin (if they play beside each other we got the J&J Protection Agency).
 
I'm excited about the new additions. But I was optimistic last year, too, and then the bottom fell out. So one day, and one draft pick, at a time...
