How Much Credit Does Flores Deserve For Sb Gameplan?

How is anyone here supposed to know this?

Bingo! We'll only get a hint of Flores once he starts coaching this team. Afterward then be able to form a reasonable thought on the question the OP asked.

About as much as gase should have gotten when he was a waterboy for Peyton, almost none.

Flores could be a good coach, but we shouldn’t take anything out of last nights game.

...or....

"...It would be a defining moment for Flores. But perhaps most importantly for Miami fans, it should be known as a game he called, not Belichick. Multiple Patriots players said so after the win Sunday night. And if that wasn’t enough, one personnel man very familiar with Flores and the Patriots even took the trouble to text as the game drew to a close: “[Flores] has called this entire game. I promise you.”"

If the Pats gave up 38, that would be Flores’ fault, natch. Since they gave up 3, of course it’s all Belichick. That’s generally how the narratives roll.

Thank you. This should end people questioning who called the game and how much input he had.

But sadly it will not.

flores called the game. im sure he had a huge impact on game plan. of course the HC is apart of game planning. its the same way everywhere else (unless you are gase). flores deserves a ton of credit.

There's more to a defense than playcalling, but I don't think the "waterboy" reference was in line, either. It's the dawn of a new era for the Dolphins. Let's try some optimism!

“Flo talked about when he wanted to call it and there was a time earlier in the game where he thought about it but he didn’t (call it),” McCourty continued. “This time when it came up, there was no hesitation. And when he called it we all kinda looked at each other like, ‘Here it is…’ . We talked about it all week, if we got there quick we could make him throw it up. All eyes back on the quarterback. Steph did what he’s done all year.”

Again, whether he had 5% credit or 50%, the key is he learned how to develop one.

Couldn't agree more. It's like when Philbin came over as the head coach. They said he was an offensive coordinator, but Mike McCarthy call the plays.

So we're just going to ignore the multiple sources who are saying that Flores called the defense last night?

Flores called the defense for the Patriots this year and game planned each week.

Deserves a lot of credit. Belechick referred to Flores calling the blitz, first time in the game sending 6, leading to Gilmore picking off the ball near goal line. He called an unbelievable game. Goff looked confused all night long.

All I know is -- if you're the dude responsible for the D -- and you're making the calls

and certainly a major contributor in the D game plan, well it's a LOT better to

make the opposing O look like kiddies than terrorists...

Great D undermines the opposing O and most important makes them hesitant and confused.

See the great Bill Arnsparger.

We'll see about the balance of the balance sheet...
