How much did Marshalls play go toward....

putting thoughts in Flynns mind of how great it would be to be throwing to this guy in Miami next year ?

I mean seriously,you know Brandons performance yesterday had to impress Flynn,and may just be the straw that puts Flynn in a Dolphins uniform.Ive been torn between going after Manning,because after the reports the last couple days,I am now definitely leaning toward he may never be right again,and it would now be a mistake to go after him. And RG3 who I do like,but thinks it would take a couple years to get to where he could get it going and lead us to where we could make the play-offs.

Before I was torn,I like the thought of a healthy Manning,even going after RG3 and still like RG3 if we cant get Flynn, but now I think Flynn is the way to go 1st,and is good enough to lead us to the play-offs next year,and maybe even deep in the play-offs.Gotta run,have a Drs App. but I look forward to your thoughts.

I'm not saying he won't be better, I'm just unaware of the evidence that makes people willing to throw $50M+ at him and make him the guy for the next several seasons.

Henne and Moore will never be "great" QBs. This is a known. We need to take risks and go for the guy many want. An added bonus would be him being familiar with Philbin and his style.

i dont see any better options than flynn.he knows the system has been real good when called on,what i do know is that henne got his chances he can go to the jets and sit on the bench.moore is a diffrent story he had one shot here in miami and did a pretty good job.not great but good.perhaps alot has to be put on the past coaches not willing to let him just let it fly rather than play not to loose.Marshall is a beast at times and can pop your eyes out of your head.but other times he looks like a little baby crying that it was not thrown right.he is however a top 15 wr when he has a top 15 qb.give him a top qb and i think he makes them both better

Moore took over in week 4. He went 6-6 as a starter. He didn't inherit an 0-7 team, he inherited an 0-3 team and was a big reason why we lost the games that we lost. Having big games against the Chiefs and Bills 2x doesn't impress me. He did not play all that well in his wins against the Jets, Redskins or Raiders. All in all Matt Moore proved that he's a journeyman for a reason and he needs to be replaced... Hopefully by RG3 Peyton Manning or Weeden.

He didn't inherit an 0-7 team, his first start came when they were 0-4 and he would lead Miami to 3 losses in his first 3 starts to push the record to 0-7. He also came into the SD game w/ the game tied so really he inherited an 0-3 team and helped them reach 0-7.

Many of this fan base wanted Henne to start over Chad Pennington a few years ago. That worked out well. Both Moore & Henne would be great No'2 qb's. Miami does need a No.1, but I dont think marshalls play had anything to do with him trying to get Flynn or RG or Manning to Miami. It was all about him.

If Philbin reaches out and puts his job on the line getting Flynn, I support our coach, he's seen the kid play and knws what he's capable of.

honestly. i dont get when people say that.

yes, maybe hes seen him in practice more than others, but he has seen him play in only 2 and a half real games in his career. also, your point on him putting his job on the line with getting flynn meaning that flynn is going to be good, is it possible that maybe since their is absolutely no better upgrade out their, he would rather live and die with his guy flynn, as opposed to moore, even though the results may be the same in the end?

its not so far fetched. just because philbin would want flynn, does not means hes great, but it could be a move that he makes because he rather lose his job going down with his own guy, rather than someone elses guy, when they can possibly be the same talent level, or similar. something to ponder.

also, just because flynn knows his system, does not guarantee anything. just because you know a system, you still need to be talented, its not like any guy just knows a system and they are automatically successful.

im just very curious as to why no teams in the nfl over recent years have offered the packers anything for flynn if hes so god damn great. their are plenty of teams in the nfl who have needed a quarterback and still do, and yet they never tried to obtain flynn, and its not because he was un tradeable, its prob because most teams know hes nothing more than an average qb at best.

Um I don't want Matt Flynn at all and I'd like you to show me where and how I gave you that idea. I certainly don't want more of Moore though, I want Manning, RG3 or a trade down for Weeden. If not, pick up Jason Campbell, trade down, pick up a first round pick next year and go all out for Barkley.
