One of the most disappointing aspects of Sparano's tenure here has been the regression of the O-line, given it was supposed to be his speciality. We've spent a metric fukton of cash on the offensive line and now have 3 first-rounders on it. Will Sparano continue to mess around with it? I know we need players for depth, but adding guys like O'Hara or Colombo just seems to tempt Sparano to mix and match some more. In a shortened offseason, this means EVEN LESS time for the line to gel.

I'm wondering if he learned anything last season, or whether we're in for another season of an underachieving O-line.

I'm confident he is a pretty smart OL coach. He shuffled the line a lot last year, but that was primarily due to injury issues and John Jerry's lack of progress. I think our line will be exceptional this year. Quote me on that.

That's where you're wrong, Sporano's specialty is the fist pump and pro-bowl FG kickers.

i know one thing, if we spent a 1st rounder on pouncey he better play the position we drafted him for, putting him at guard is pretty much a wasted pick in my opinion. Our huge need was a center and thats what i thought we got. Using pouncey to play guard like some ppl have been suggesting would be a huge dissappointment and a wasted draft pick in my opinion. If that was the plan the hole time i would have rather have taken ingram with our first.

He's not exactly quick to make improvements. He still hasnt figured out that the Wildcat does nothing but kill drives. The dumbarse still thinks its a good idea to run on 3 and 5+ even in games where it's not working, after having not worked in over a season, even when we're moving the ball in the air. Prime example was the Jets game last season. We move the ball down the field by throwing, get in FG range and boom we trot out the Wildcat on 3rd + 7. The guy is probably the dumbest, least aggressive head coach in the entire league. He'll never have another head coaching job in the NFL. Quote me on that. The guy was never qualified in the 1st place.

Inuries on the O-line seriously killed us last year and plus with the limited time we have for camp Sparano wont be able to do much tinkering.
