That is just wrong

I'm guessing that IF we do sign a FA to 20M+ guaranteed, it will be a frontloaded contract. I.E. $15M roster bonus in 08.

The contracts are usually spread out over 4-5 years, so while it probably wouldn't put us in cap hell, it would take a healthy bite out of what we have to work with. I highly doubt we'll pay the big $$ to get AS with the possibility of having to sign the #1 pick. We have way too many holes to fill, so expect some smart shopping with our cap, not spontanious spending.
